Concordia University Irvine — Attraction in Irvine

I don't recommend the Masters of International Studies program (MAIS). There was a lot that wasn't disclosed, or information that was known but kept secret. In summary, I felt that the staff were either too lazy to investigate safety concerns or overly optimistic and ignorant. 2 weeks ago, I had an incident where I had to call the police, and the CUI staff have still not interviewed any witnesses. This school only employed extremely right wing, openly racist, often under-qualified staff when I was attending from 2003 until my graduation in 2006. The accreditation from this school was not recognized by any State schools or other colleges, so I had to remain at this bigoted institution unless I wanted to spend the time and money to start my education from scratch elsewhere.

The CMC Program gave me a wonderful opportunity to return to pastoral ministry. I learned things, I developed friendships with both students and faculty, and I have been equipped to serve a congregation's needs as a called Lutheran pastor.
