Sand Canyon Plaza — Attraction in Irvine

We tried Grater Grilled Cheese. It was okay. All the outside tables were sticky or had food, trash or wasps hovering nearby. I thought the cheese was a little gloppy and not that good also, the pickle seemed out of place with a grilled cheese. To me pickles go with deli sandwiches like Reubens. Service was friendly and we enjoyed our meal, but would definitely come back with wipes. I put the tomatoes from my salad into the grilled cheese and got some ketchup for dipping. I would have enjoyed a bag of chips or side of non-sweet potato fries, but did not see those...

I really like this plaza. I probably go to 7- eleven here every other day. The plaza is nice and clean, doesn't get too crowded, and I like the little outdoor tables they have at the end of then strip by 7-eleven. Nice spot to come at night and play some scratchers. Very friendly people at the 7-eleven.

The Domino's here is awesome too. Friendly staff and great food. Very accommodating.

Carl's Jr is nice at this plaza also. No complaints here. I wish they were open 24hrs though!

There are a bunch of food places here, as well as an animal hospital, a fitness place, and a hydration and infusion center. Unless someone tells you about it, you probably wouldn't notice it driving by on Irvine Center drive and certainly not on Sand Canyon. We were told about a great place for mac and cheese, Grater Grilled Cheese. We had a Veggie Grilled Cheese sandwich and Country Mac and Cheese. The sandwich included Jalapenos, sauteed onion, bell pepper and mushrooms. Wow! Try it!...
