Grater Grilled Cheese is a must-visit spot for any grilled cheese lover. Their menu boasts a variety of different grilled cheese options, each one more tantalizing than the last. If none of the pre-made options suit your fancy, you can even create your own grilled cheese masterpiece. But no matter what you order, you're in for a treat. The sandwiches themselves are absolutely delicious. The bread is perfectly toasted and the cheese is melted to gooey perfection. Plus, the variety of toppings and fillings available means that there's something for everyone. Whether you want something classic like a plain grilled cheese or something more adventurous like a sandwich with bacon and jalapeños, they've got you covered. And let's not forget about the tomato soup. It's the perfect complement to the grilled cheese, and the two together make for a truly satisfying meal. The soup is rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and it's the ideal accompaniment to the cheesy goodness of the sandwich. If you're a grilled cheese fan, Grater Grilled Cheese is a must-visit spot. With their creative menu, friendly staff, and perfectly executed sandwiches, you won't be disappointed.

No flavor. Poor execution of a great concept. Out of my entire party of 4, everyone stated their grilled cheese sandwiches had no flavor, including the kid who is practically raised on grilled cheese! (no, they don't have COVID). The sourdough was overwhelming. The cheese tasted like nothing. This may be a sign of a cheap cheese, or it's pre-shredded from the vendor. Not sure. I ordered their number 1 best-seller, the Lobster Grilled Cheese and I had to kick it back for its fishy taste (which is a sign the fish was sitting around too long). They were kind enough to replace my sandwich with their number 3 which was the Avocado Grilled Cheese, but again, cheese was flavorless and the avocado tasted bitter. This is another sign the avocado was sitting around too long. Their tomato soup tasted like chemicals, so it may be from a can. The bill for 4 was $70, like holy smoke!

We were Super hungry, but on the go. We saw there was a jimmy Jon's in this plaza and spotted this place while turning in. We had been to another restaurant in this plaza which was overpriced and bougie, but we thought we'd try it anyway. The menu looked good. We used the kiosk, and I was glad we did because all of the options to customize your sandwich cost extra. I ordered a chicken pesto grilled cheese on sourdough with parmesan crust. My husband got some kind of smash burger grilled cheese also with a couple of options and a $4 fry. We sit down and food does come fairly quickly. Portion sizes were a bit small including the fries. Food was decent and had good flavor, but didn't justify the high price tag. If you are a grilled cheese connoisseur this place could be for you. We got out of there for $48, should have gone to the jimmy Jon's

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a modern and fun atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for a delightful dining experience. The décor is chic yet playful, making it an inviting space for both casual dining and special occasions. The star of the show, of course, is their grilled cheese sandwiches. I came here for lunch and ordered a basic grilled cheese with a cup of broccoli cheddar soup and a chocolate chip cookie. The service was polite and quick, which I liked. The actual food though...not so much.

The grilled cheese was delicious I suppose, but the inner part of the cheese was not gooey enough and was clearly still in separate slices, as though it were simply being reheated and wasn't quite allowed to finish. Also, despite this, it was incredibly messy -- the single-ply paper wrapping they give you with it barely contains its sauce. Moreover, the quantity of sandwich is definitely not worth the nearly-$7 asking price.

The broccoli cheddar soup was also reasonably savory, and had a taste very much reminiscent of both broccoli and cheddar, but just different enough to be noticeably neither broccoli nor cheddar.

The chocolate chip cookie was sadly very dry: it had a fantastic taste, but the texture was one of day-old bread, not one of cookie.

In summary: It was the most okayest grilled cheese, soup, and cookie combo that...
