Valley Oak Park is a charming community park situated between Alton Pkwy and Barranca Pkwy in Irvine. Cool, little, homey, backyard-y place. Two 24-hour tennis courts, children's playground, a basketball court, few barbecue grills and gazebos including one extra large one, restrooms, and parking. Awesome park with a lot of room for privacy if you want to lay a blanket, rest, read, write, eat, etc. Quite a few trees all around for some shade too. Restrooms very nice.
