I'm pretty sure I have found my permanent home. We moved here from Washington State 3 1/2 months ago. We actually have not had any face to face interactions with anyone at the office since we moved during the pandemic, but every time we have spoke to the office staff on the phone they were professional, kind and helpful. Since we moved from Washington to CA, we had to rent the apartment blind, with only looking at pictures on their page. I can tell you that the 3-bedroom that we moved into is bigger than what the video shows. We were extremely concerned about the tiny kitchen, but once we moved in, we realized that it's not as small as what it seems on the video either. Know that for our particular three bedroom, it is much bigger than the videos. (Model F2) I completely understand the reviews of people living over the garage doors. There is no way I would want to live up there. Also, the door to the garage does slam on it's own so we are very careful to always grab the handle and softly close it to prevent the big bang. I do forget sometimes and to my upstairs neighbors - I sincerely apologies and will continue to remember to grab the door before it slams. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL!!!! The pool and pool area is delightful, relaxing and also beautiful. Everyone seems to be dog friendly and I love the walking trails and being so close to Walgreens, Ralphs and other stores close by. Like I said, I have only been here for 3 1/2 months but we LOVE it here. Extra shout out to the maintenance team who are super quick, friendly and helpful. And let's not forget the cherry on top - The squirrels and rabbits that entertain us especially during Covid19.

After living here for two and a half years, we love it even more than when we moved in. I honestly wish I could live here for the rest of my life, but we never know what the future may hold. Office management and maintenance team are always super helpful, friendly and attentive to our needs. I love the clean, cozy feeling of the grounds and neighbors are nice, cordial and quiet. Our delightful six-year sojourn at Shadow Oaks has truly been an extraordinary experience.
