Dollar General — Attraction in Irvington

Hello. I would like to bring to the management’s attention of how I was ridiculed today and how your staffs showed lack of emphaty during the course of their duty to customers. I was at the store to pick up $100 WesternUnion transaction. The thing is, I am an expecting mum with my due date very close. There was a long queue of people and I pleaded that the staff attended to me rather than make me stay on line for about 10 minutes but the manager (young black lady)refused stating that she has to attend to everyone on line before, she called her colleagues and they were laughing at me for requesting special attention.Her behavior was inhumane and unprofessional. We do not need people like these on the customer facing end. She is not customer-centric and so insensitive. She might make you lose business...

2 years ago I gave this store 5 stars, but right now I wouldn't give it more than a star. Last month, I think, the place ran into some changes to accommodate more goods. However the changes included the staff bringing new young pple. It could be good as pumping new blood but unfortunately there is no control on them. They are rude, slow and very unorganized. Now days there is a long queue to pay, all times. Most of times, there is only one cashier, no matter how many customers are in the queue and no matter how many workers at the store at this time. Right now I reduced my visiting to the minimum and shortly will stop going completely, replacing them with the nearby Super Fresh and Value...

I've been to a few DG locations, with 2 being my favorite. Today 2/24/18 I stopped by the Chancellor Ave location in Irvington. The store is big with a big selection of products which I like.... what I did not like had nothing to do with the store or staff. The area is very congested, and the location is in the hood. I'm not a fan of the area and based on that I won't visit this location again. plus the parking lot is very small and quite a few ppl wanted to create a space while arbitrarily blocking the exit and everyone doesn't know how to drive. to alleviate the headache I'll go to North Broad Street, Market Street or the location in...
