My family and I love Irvington Park more than anyone actually will know is actually a good place to take the kids to. I also seen a few people fishing there I still remember my dad used to go out of town and fish he's a catch certain fish and then throw them inside Irvington Park pond but besides that the first time I flew my kite I'll put those pictures up later and as you see the winter time is the best nothing like Family Day on the Sledge and Snowboard

The park is truly natures gift. It is well kept and the lawns are lush and manicured. There are trails for walking or jogging. If you want to sit and relax there are seats all over the park to rest, relax and enjoy the beautiful ambience. Children at play. Ppl can be seen walking their dogs. Yesterday ppl were fishing. Come visit the park and exhale....

Its cool there they just need to clean the little pool of water that they have on display in the middle of the park its too much trash in it.... the photos i posted were taken the day of storm Isiasi where it uprooted a lot of trees but the next day or so they started cleaning up the disaster....

This is a nice park for families to spend the day with their children. Also a place to practice sports : Basketball🏀, Tennis 🎾 , jogging 🏃 and soccer ⚽, very sadly the baseball field is abandoned. The pond can use a big cleanup to enhance the park's appeal.

Description
Irving Park is a city park of about 16 acres in northeast Portland, in the U.S. state of Oregon. Located at Northeast 7th Avenue and Fremont Street in the Irvington neighborhood, the park is on land that was originally owned by William Irving, for whom the neighborhood was named.
