Real Antique Wood — Attraction in Irvington

If I could, I would have rated my experience with Real Antique Wood (RAW) 6+ STARS (or even higher, 10 STARS...you get the point)! From day 1, my wife and I had an AMAZING experience. The showroom in Irvington is INCREDIBE, almost difficult to put into words the variety, craftsmanship, quality, and uniqueness of their product offerings. My wife and I worked almost exclusively with Anthony S. from Day 1 and he is one of my favorite people in this world. Anthony is super honest, full of incredible ideas/vision, and extremely professional and courteous to meet changing client needs/wishes. Anthony helped bring to life our new AWESOME bar room to complete our fully renovated farm-style home. Anthony recommended an awesome bar counter-top made from a tree imported from Costa Rica, along with distressed and dark shiplap siding and floating shelves from a barn taken down in PA. If that is not enough to get you in the door at RAW, Anthony and one of his colleagues (another incredible dude) INSTALLED THE ENTIRE bar on a Friday night (not kidding) in order for us to have bar functional and ready to use / celebrate for our daughter's birthday party the next day. WHO ELSE DOES THAT!? Everyone and anyone that has visited our new home not only compliments the bar but will also ask where did we go for that....simple answer, Real Antique Wood! Many thanks to Anthony & the entire team; you have a friend and client for life. Oh yeah....I am thinking about new siding for an accent wall in the new home gym, I will be in touch soon. ;)

Anthony Saraceno is a master craftsman whose work is outstanding. His brother Chris runs the office and will make sure you leave happy. And he has two adorable rescue dogs. What’s not to love.

We have a studio apartment in New York City and every inch of space counts. We had a 7 ft long by 30 inch wide custom, raw edge table, which doubles as a desk (with special effects laid into the epoxy) made to fit wall to wall in our apartment window. We originally made the mistake of buying a slab in PA, thinking we would save money. Big mistake. Turns out the wood wasn’t the quality we thought. We went to Real Antique Wood and were blown away by their quality and pricing - a fraction of the cost of any home design outlet in NYC. Trust us, we looked! The table/desk was so gorgeous we went back and asked them to make a dining table with a unique, custom made fold out leaf. Their colleague Lisa did the metal work. SO incredible. Real Antique Wood hands down has the best customer service we have ever experienced from a business! When we met Chris for the first time at the shop, he was very knowledgeable about the different products they offer. Chris was patient and professional when building our two customized tables (dining room and kitchen) and always responded back to emails quickly. We loved that Chris kept the lines of communication open throughout the process of our tables being built by sending us updates, such as a picture of the slabs that were going to be used.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Chris, Taylor, Anthony, and the entire team. They are professional, reliable, creative, and personable. Not only do they have great communication with their customers, but also with each other. They truly do work as a team and take pride in their work. We will absolutely be using Real Antique Wood again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional customer service and high quality products!
