Lake Sammamish State Park Playground — Attraction in Issaquah

Wonderful park, awesome playground for children of all ages next to a great beach that is only 2’ to 3’ deep about 50’ out so your little ones can really wander out into the water without you having to worry. It’s marked off by bouys too. My ONLY complaint is the sand is not near the water. So you play with tiny rocks instead of sand starting about 15’ from the waterline. What an outstanding park. It is under repair but it’s still pretty cool. It’s so close to the parking (which you need an adventure pass for) and very close to the water. There is double swing (so cool), and a zip line (mainly for older kids) and many many slides. My toddler (and many other toddlers) had loads of fun because there were many options for toddlers. This park is the perfect spot for a family weekend relaxation. It has a beautiful garden with a small playground for kiddos. The beach is just few steps from the parking. It is really long beach with a section for kayaking lovers and another section for swimming. I loved the place. It’s quite and clean. I saw many kayaks there. It seems they rent also.
