I remember liking this place. Wanted to take my little sister on a date to movies and pancakes a few weeks ago. When we got here, we waited a long time to be seated, but someone who looked like they were the manager came and helped us to a spot. The first thing that was given to us was the water, which I just couldn't drink. It had this terrible taste that made me feel sick. I asked for a drink to replace it, which they did, only after trying to defend their "filtered" water. Next awful thing was they didn't offer a kids menu for my little sister, who was 11. It wasn't until after ordering did I bring myself to notice that kids ate for free. I felt cheated that we weren't even given the opportunity for something so generous. After asking about it, I was given the impression that it was to late to do anything about it. We were left with our meals arriving to our table with an upset feeling. So then we ate. I ordered avacado scrambled eggs. What a nightmare that was. The presentation of the dish was worse than any expectation. The whole thing was eggs, store bought salsa, and half an avacado. I can't remember what the name of it was, but it led me to believe it was more than 3 basic things for a large sum of money. Fortunately it came with hashbrowns and pancakes, but when those side items make up the better part of the dish, that's just sad. The menu needs a huge update. Slapping an avacado on some basic foods doesn't make any sense. Sadly, the pancakes were not at all as good as I remember. The syrup they leave on the tables for who knows how long was the only good thing about this visit. My sister decided to trust my suggestion and go for eggs benedict. Big mistake. I felt so awful because the hollandaise sauce ruined the entire dish. Even the ham which she loves was inedible. The only thing not touching the sauce was her hashbrowns, which was the only thing she could eat. She felt better after eating my pancakes I gave her. All I could think about was wishing I took her somewhere else that served quality pancakes. But wait, it gets worse. The brought out wasn't even served on clean dishes. After finishing what we could of our meal, I noticed how dirty our dishes were besides the obvious food that it was served with. I turned one plate over and it was covered with this gunk after realizing it was there after sliding the plate. I really just wanted to leave right then and not even pay (I ended up paying for my meal and managed to convince an employee to remove my sister's meal off the bill). The people working here are criminals. The customer service is the opposite of service. They dont serve you. Never eat here if you value...

Read moreWe came in around 8:30 am as a family to have a breakfast before we had back on the road since we were visiting the beautiful Washington state. Waited around 10 - 15 mins to be seated. Then we were sat and we ordered coffee for drinks. The mugs were dirty that we had to have them changed out. Coffee was so light in colour that one tiny cup of their half & half made our coffee look extremely milky. After a while we made our order, our server was very nice, friendly and listened attentively for our order, wrote down everything we said (or so it looked like). We got two chicken fajita omelettes (each came with 3 or 4 pancakes), one fresh blueberry french toast, one ricotta crepes, one chicken and veggie salad and one buttermilk chicken with mac & cheese. Asked for avocados for the omelettes but was told they didn’t have any so then for the chicken and veggies salad I asked for no mushrooms and to have crispy chicken because I can choose between crispy or grilled chicken, I didn’t expect the avocados to be there since we were told they didn’t have any. Waited over 30 mins for food to arrive. And waited almost an entire hour for the salad, while everyone in my family got their food and finished it I was still waiting for a salad… and even when it did arrive I got (raw?) mushrooms, avocados and not crispy, raw looking chickens. We asked why mine had avocados when my family was told they didn’t have any and the server said “because they’re not cooked yet.” Overall experience wasn’t what any of us expected or wanted and I’m glad we’re not local to be going there again anyway. Hopefully they’ll see all the bad reviews and work on...
