A lot of parking. Generally you need a discover pass, but it was free on Saturday when I went (Jun 8, 24). Parking is very close to picnic area and beach. There were about three birthday parties and still plenty of space for families to spend some quiet time. I would recommend parking close to east side of the parking (far end from the entrance), it’s least amount of walk to the beach and you can be close to a lot of picnic spots. Beach is ok for Seattle standards, a lot of duck droppings and with kids you need to be a bit careful. Restroom alarms tripped a few times and park officers were quick to respond. Some of the paved picnic areas were barricaded for some reason. Authorities should open them to allow people to book and enjoy the designated party area. Overall we had a pleasant time.

beautiful spot with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The scenery alone makes it a great place for nature lovers or if you love taking a stroll. Parking is abundant, which is a big plus, and there are plenty of seating areas and nice spots for a picnic. The trails around the beach, offer more opportunities for exploration. the beach can get crowded, making it hard to find a quiet spot to relax, the overall atmosphere is lively.. There are bathrooms on-site, and the option to rent spaces for parties or barbecues makes it a versatile location for both casual visits and special occasions. But those events often minimize the space for others to use, such as a bench or shady spot in the grass. Definitely worth the visit.

Large grassy areas with lots of picnic tables for large or small groups. Restrooms were large and nice. Sand was soft. A bit windy at this beach due to the location but has a great swimming area. Great for kayaking and paddle boarding. Has a small snack shop too. No cooking fires were allowed with wood or charcoal when we went. Day use costs $10 at the kiosk.

There is a lot of parking at the beach and it is easily acceptable. There is a store to buy light food/drinks, bathrooms, and a lot of empty space to do whatever. There are also a lot of trails to walk around the beach. The beach itself was okay, very crowded for corona times but an average beach. The water is a greenish/brownish color and there are too many people swimming. I would not recommend going to this lake for the sole purpose of swimming because it is a bit gross. I think it’s perfectly safe but just not...
