Extremely Disappointing Experience – Oversold and Poorly Run

I’m writing this review while still stuck on line for the Great Adventure Safari—which gives you an idea of how long and disorganized this wait is. We spent nearly $400 on 11 tickets for our family, and it’s been nothing but frustration from the moment we arrived.

The signage pulling into the park is outdated and confusing, with old irrelevant signs still hanging and no clear direction. There were no staff directing traffic, and the ones we eventually encountered were rude and clearly overwhelmed. From the start, it was chaos.

The line for the safari—so far over a 2-hour wait—is moving at a snail’s pace, with no staff managing the crowd, no shade, and no updates. It’s obvious they’ve massively oversold tickets without the infrastructure to support the crowds.

this isn’t just a routine guest complaint—it raises serious concerns about overselling, lack of disclosure, and potential price gouging through the Cheetah Pass system, which increased in price as crowds grew.

If a business cannot properly accommodate the volume they’re selling for, they should not be allowed to continue doing so. It’s irresponsible and unfair to paying customers. This really should be brought to the attention of the consumer protection bureau.
