I've done both of the rooms at EpIQ Escapes and I'm HOOKED! I can't wait for them to open their next rooms! The staff are so friendly and give you a wonderful experience. They make sure you get the best clues for your game and go through everything that you missed if you don't happen to escape. I highly recommend these rooms.
Spoiler Alert! If you don't want to know anything about the rooms, stop here!
Aboard the Revenge: This room is set aboard a pirate ship and was my first Escape Room experience. My partner and I placed with a group of 4 other people. I would recommend bringing your own group if you're as polite as I am. There were puzzles that I knew were being solved incorrectly yet I let them finish them before pointing out errors. We were very close to escaping this room but didn't quite make it.
Madame Delylah: This is a room set in a psychic's caravan. It's the most immersive room I've been in so far and is my favorite room of the two. When I did it, you started out handcuffed and blindfolded. Apparently some customers were put-off by the idea of being handcuffed so they made the decision to remove that part of the puzzle (which is too bad. I loved it!). This time we went for my birthday with two of our friends and we got the #1 Escape Time for this room (which at the time only had a 7% escape rate!) We had a blast, I can't wait for them to reopen this room in their new location so that I can send my friends and they even gave me a birthday discount of 20% off my ticket!
I know that they are going to be opening a CSI themed room and they have a mobile escape room that they're creating and I can't wait to...
Read moreWent here on a date night with my wife and we did the new Camp Room. This was an easier level, light-hearted, and all their experiences are "family friendly" according to their website so this seemed like a good choice. Gotta say, unless you want to see a visually disturbing and painfully awkward drag queen video to kick things off don't bring your kids to this "family friendly" escape room. We apparently have very different ideas on what that term means. Don't understand how a dude provocatively dressed as a woman has anything to do with camping. I know the business is LGBTQ+ friendly so yeah shame on me for not knowing better, but at least tell people what they are getting into. This was nowhere advertised and not what I bargained for. The room/puzzle itself was at least decent and challenging. But absolutely would have walked out if we had...
Read moreOkay listen, this is coming from a guy that is addicted to escape room. My stats are 7 successful escapes with 1 I didn't. My addiction is because I started playing here! The game masters are easy to talk with and always there with a smile on their face. But I recently did The ATTIC. It was 10/10 best room for people who like a little fright but still a escape room experience. SHOUT OUT GAME MASTER GOES TO: Jules (now I dont know his last name, but anyways). Now this kid is funny, enthusiastic, and a great symbol of what epIQ Escapes has to offer in a staff member. And I was really impressed to have that vibe today with him as my game master.
P.S If you see this, Jules I message someone too about your good work. YOU DESERVED IT. I will be back for more...
