Under the Oaks Park — Attraction in Jackson

Very small park in a once good side of town. This place is cool for the fact that there is a plaque with information on the formation of the Republican party. Jackson, along with a few other cities claim to be the birthplace. I myself do not know which place actually does own that right, but I always thought that it was a neat bit of Jackson's history.
