I'll keep it short and sweet. The rooms at this place are upgraded in a nice manner and if they were actually kept clean, this would be a great hotel. The floors during our stay were sticky and left me and my children's feet black on the bottoms. Also, the stove area was sticky as well so I wasn't surprised when a roach was seen strolling into our room. I of course checked out to stay at another hotel the instant I saw the roach and when I requested a refund for the remainder of my scheduled stay, I was met with hostility and aggression by the hotel manager who's name I believe is Bianca. She literally tried to argue with me about the roach not belonging to the hotel but instead another tenant as the roach was seen coming inside our room from the hallway. Ma'am, it doesn't matter where the roach came from all that matters is that the roach is here in my room and I did not pay to have extra guests over. I decided too leave and disengage from the argument with Bianca and instead opt to dispute the transaction with my bank. I would advise anyone to not stay there, there's a nice Hyatt Place in the northern area of Jacksonville that's a much better option. Also, this place doesn't mention that the staff leaves at around 6 PM and for the remainder of the night no one is present to monitor the front desk at all. Quite scary indeed if safety is a priority for you.

Some have been nice but it depends on who owns them, this group is the worst with $150 deposit for a no frills extended stay that half the time is overbooked with fema people and then because of the demographics situation they all now have a German cockroach problem from Jax to Gainesville…I know I have personally stayed at all of them and counted the ones killed not seen and reported it to staff, low water pressure, sticky floors, people smoking pot outside and then the smell get sucked into your ac system etc. Not pleasant at all. Just wanted a nice sleep…picture show how dirty floors are after 2 hours of walking with new socks…really!!!!

Don’t get stranded like I did. The front desk is not open 24/7. They have a very limited schedule, and if you arrive late, they give you a number to call—no one answers. I waited outside for an hour with no response and had to find another place to stay. I couldn’t check in. People looked very strange, and there were even people in the parking lot screaming and looking for lost children. I have no proof that this is a shelter, but no doubts either. Terrible experience.

Let me start off by saying this is a long read, but it is all very important information. I have no proof of it, but I have to believe that any positive review for this hotel is a result of the hotel management bribing people for good reviews by discounting their stay because absolutely no part of my stay was worth more than 1 star and I had very similar issues to most of the other 1 star reviews. The room was dirty and had cockroaches. Towels were stained. Front desk staff was never at the front desk, and anything you may need while they are away, is an additional $10 fee. I was told if I wanted the room to be cleaned, I would have to come down the next day at 9am to request a cleaning, however when I went down the next day around 10am, the front desk was closed (they have a metal drop down that can close the front desk when they are away). If I wanted new towels, trash bags, or toilet paper, I was told I needed to get them from the front desk, housekeeping wouldn't be doing those services. I turned in my towels for new ones once during my 10 day stay and I was charged $7+tax. Housekeeping didn't come around at all. Staff also said they don't remove garbage, you have to do it yourself. I booked through a corporate booking company and was told pets are ok (the corporate site did not specify what kind). When I checked in, I told them I had 2 cats. The lady at the front desk said that was fine. When I checked out, another staff member said they don't allow cats. I told her that I declared them upon check in and walked them through the lobby with no issues. Front desk staff also will hang up the phone on you or just not answer altogether. I had to call 10+ times per day for 3 days to get my receipt. Overall, the hotel was dirty, staff neglected to do their jobs, and it appears staff are also unsure of their own rules. Hotel also appears to be primarily occupied by tenants who live there permanently or are there for government subsidized housing and don't have a need for staff on a regular basis like most people at a hotel might. That, however, does not excuse the lack of housekeeping for shorter term guests. Also, the entire hotel smelled of weed and I personally witnessed drug deals, people doing drugs, and people getting drunk and screaming in the parking lot. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. In fact, I will make sure anyone I know visiting the area stays far away from this hotel and I plan to contact the...

We came into town on Thursday for my wife's Heart procedure starting with testing on Friday and procedure on Monday knowing she will be in the Hospital at least until Tuesday . We booked our Stay at Woodsprings in Jacksonville florida . We were told at the front desk that we would have to bring our towels and wash rags down to the front desk for even exchange for clean ones everyday , and the room will be cleaned twice a week . Friday towell exchange went well and as we left Saturday morning for a while we saw house keeping in the hallway on our floor so we took it for granted that when we got back that housekeeping would have at least took.out our full bag of garbage and gave us clean towels . When we got back to the room a few hours later nothing was done , dirty towels still in the laundry basket and garbage still over full . So I took the trash down and found a trash can to put it in then I went and got my towels for even exchange and found the gate to the front desk down and no one to be found but there is a sign that says if no one is at the desk call 500 from the lobby phone and they will come help you . We'll when I dialed 500 the lady that answered said I would have to wait until tomorrow to get clean towels and as far as housekeeping cleaning our room we have to be at the hotel 2 weeks before we are put on a list to have our room cleaned . We'll I said that's not what I was told and she said that's the way it is and I said this will be the last time I use this Hotel and she said " oh well " and hung up on me . Besides all that one of the dwares in the room will not stay closed there is black mold on the window sheers and when we checked in the first day there was a couple towels on the bathroom counter opened up and tossed on the counter like someone used them and the toilet seat was up like someone used it . I told front desk about it and said you probably had someone in this room and when they saw that the drawer wouldn't stay closed probably changed rooms which front desk did not deny it but gave me clean towels and said we are full there is no extra rooms to exchange for you . If I can find a way to take pictures of trash in the halls and in the laundry room floor then I will upload some pictures to show you . But if you are looking for a hotel I would find a...

The reason my score is a 1 it’ll be a zero if I could. The manager Ms Bianca and her co workers that are women, target women who are pretty and give them a hard time about pretty much anything! They close the office depending on the person. Show favoritism, make us do laundry for their covers or sheets when it’s their job! They also change the prices depending on the person too! It’s all very unprofessional. Ms Jessica flirts with my husband who felt very uncomfortable by her strange remarks! Cheyenne is another coworker, she is VERY RUDE, and only became nice when I threatened to let Ms Bianca know by via audio how I was treated. She was rude I asked for a plunger and was told that’s not an emergency! When I and my kids have to use the bathroom everyone has to use the bathroom through the night it had just hit the mark of office hours closing and they couldn’t assist me with a plunger. She later assisted me with the plunger but called to argue “get her point across” by saying “that’s not a emergency so I didn’t feel you need so don’t ask again” followed by a very nasty tone, as I stated I’ll let Ms Bianca know, and hung up. I came down the elevator to her yelling on the phone to someone while the office was closed about me stating I’d tell the manager. Very nasty attitudes, the hotel is very nice but has the wrong ghetto unprofessional people running it! Ms Jessica only is respectful to the coworkers but she is very racist and assumed I didn’t know Spanish then would proceed to speak badly about people of color in different languages to people who were working construction, or the other Hispanic beautiful lady, she exchanged words with her who was in the process of getting trained; she spoke about me in another language then the new person (other Hispanic lady) corrected her ignorance. Who was later fired. All in all be ready for jealousy, high school drama, gaslighting and bad treatment from people like Bianca, Jessica and Cheyenne. Be blessed and stay...
