Usually don’t leave reviews but since I cannot stand blatant deception I must post. They offer a standard size and a jumbo size margarita. Standard is $9 and jumbo $16. We ordered one of each size at our table and figured out they had identical volumes. You would never know unless you ordered both. We told our waitress and all she could say was I understand and others have complained also. They didn’t seem very surprised or sincerely apologetic and made no offer to remedy until we showed them by pouring water from the big one into the small one. It was clear to me they knew what they were doing. Hard to go back here when they treat customers like this and don’t correct the problem. The place was almost empty for a Sunday night so I think people figured this out before me. I was really wanting to like this place since it’s so close to home and it’s very tastefully decorated and has a nice bar. Perhaps consider coming here for Taco Tuesday or happy hour but not for a dinner and drinks with the family. The value isn’t there. If your looking for Mexican nearby both Tequilas and Champions are better options as far as food quality and service even though I prefer the decor at Salsa’s. I should have read the other reviews first. Thank you for responding. My issue was the fact that you are charging $7 more for a “Jumbo” margarita even though they are both 12 ounces.

Last night, my best friend and I decided to try a new place and agreed on Salsa’s. The experience overall was completely awful. First, we sat down for 20 minutes before someone even came to our table. The food and queso did come out very fast, but when I started eating my beans there was this extremely hard piece in it. A rock. I had a rock in my beans. I asked my server for a manager who went to go get another server, who then went to get another server before they sent the manager over. When the manager came he apologized and offered to switch my food out and said it was a calcium stone and it happens in beans often. I googled calcium stones in beans and nothing came up. It was a rock. After I decided to not even eat my food, he still made my friend pay who was scared to even eat her beans and didn’t touch them and I still had to pay for my drink. Overall, it was the worst experience and customer service and I will never return.

What a fantastic experience. Plenty of parking plus easy in and out make it a pleasure to come to Salsas. Entry is warm and welcoming with plenty of comfortable seating. Our server was Hacsa who was most attentive all evening. We started with the Chips and House Salsa $2 and is a 5 ⭐ with just the right amount of Celontro and spice. I ordered the Tortilla Soup a huge bowl enough for 3 or more to have. While not as creamy as I like still a 5 ⭐ offering for $10. We also ordered the Salsas Fajitas Chicken, Steak & Shrimp with so much side it's hard to believe. Let's put it this way, enough for 2 more meals at home making it a $21 wonderful 5 ⭐ meal. Service and food were so good we left a nice tip. We intend to return and suggest you make this your Baymeadows Mexican place. My only very small negative is please lower the background music as it is a little loud.

I never post reviews but was so pleased with the food, I told the manager I would. The food was very fresh, seasoned, and portions were great. We have been to several Mexican eateries lately and all were disappointing...old and dry microwaved. Salsas on Bay Meadows was a pleasant surprise. Food was definitely cooked and prepared to order. We ordered 3 tacos and a vegetarian burrito. The tacos are served flat and open faced for customer to fold. We really liked that as it allows for more ingredients...instead of a pre folded taco that has minimal filling. Presentation was a win too. Tacos had purple cabbage slaw and lots of colors. The veggie burrito was excellent...loaded, flavorful, and filling...no need for meat and was accompanied with rice and black beans. Atmosphere is nice...I'd say high casual with substantial booths and seating, and nice lighting. We will def go back. Keep in mind not all locations are equal...this location far exceeds other Salsas we have visited. You can tell there is pride involved, which is rarely seen these days unless its super high end dining. Staff was kind and service went well....food took a little time to be served, but was worth the wait! Fresh food that is cooked with care and to order should not fly on your table in 3 minutes. House Magarita was perfect, as were the thin and crispy chips and salsa....

The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. We were seated right away. She got out drinks and brought them to us, and then spilled my drink (water) all over the table and us. She apologized and it was fine, we moved tables and she brought me a new drink. She told us that she would pay for our drinks. I ordered shrimp and steak fajitas, she only ordered steak. I asked her about it, she said sorry- no offer to correct. The food was amazing, I ate it like it was. When she brought our check we saw the drinks were on the check and asked her about it, she said those are the refills. We asked if sweet teas were charged for refills. She said oh I mean I got her drink. I said but mine was a water. She just looked at me, I said just charge the card.... my issue is that she told us she would get the drinks, then didn't. Why say anything if your not going to do it? I don't care that the errors were made, I care that she said she would do...
