Dollar General — Attraction in Jaffrey

I've been here a few times in the past during those times the place was absolutely disgusting and the items were sometimes up to or over a hear out of date. This store has over gone a complete remodel and now I cannot find a single thing to complain about, the variety is outstanding for what it is, the shelves for the most part are stocked, they've brought in items that I haven't seen at other dollar general stores in my area. The best thing I like about it is the self check out, the one problem is if you have alchohol or you need cigarettes you'll have to go to a regular checkout and the wait time can be a little lengthy as I've typically only seen on person there doing just about everything. In the hour plus that I was in there as everything was moved around I did not see anyone at the register and the one person that had alchohol and wanted cigarettes left after waiting for fifteen minutes. The best part that this store has to offer is the refrigerator and freezer section and the selection that is offered and it is most definitely worth the drive as I live in troy and it's a twenty minute drive from where I live but it's more then worth it. Store has what you'd expect from a Dollar General. However, this location is very disorganization with boxes and carts blocking the aisles which not only blocks access to shelves of merchandise, but would also inhibit one with disabilities from going down the aisle. Today, I stopped in and on the way out set off the alarm by the door. I only had two items, both of which were paid for, and waited by the exit for an associate. No one came, so I just left. If I were a dishonest person, they'd be out some merchandise with how well they handle...

Every time I've been in this store the workers have been so nice. They have a good selection and variety of things. You can get dinner, gifts, makeup, household products, all in one stop. I think their housewares are cute and fairly cheap. It's like a mini Walmart but without all the ridiculousness that comes with shopping at one.
