I have been a fan and admirer of Janice Aponte art works for years. She represents her Puerto Rican culture in everything that she paints. Once I saw that her gallery was opening in Jefferson Park Chicago I was so excited. I was there on the Ribbon cutting day to show my support. Soon after participating in art events. One of the major events was hosting an exhibit myself. Janice made my dream come true to bring my works and my father’s art pieces for the first time in his life. Janice took me step by step to bring this important exhibit to life “Desayuno con Papa” Breakfast with Dad in August. Her support and curating the exhibit elevated my expectations. AponteArt Gallery is the perfect Gem in the Jefferson Park neighborhood! Janice Aponte the owner has found a space to showcase her beautiful artwork! She has so much to offer with not just her beautiful paintings but with her wisdom and knowledge and she opens her space up to other creative artists to showcase their work during her exhibits.
