I placed an online order for an electric massage table and vinyl table coverings on May 3rd. Before placing the order, I called to check on the backorder status of the massage table and was told it would be available by mid to late June. I proceeded with my order, and although I received the table and face cradle coverings, they were far too small to fit a standard table. I requested a return for these items and an update on the table's status via email. After sending two emails and waiting five days, I was informed that I would need to pay return postage. I pointed out that this was unfair, as my tables were well within the specs provided in the item description. Eventually, they agreed to send me a return label, but I received a curt response when I asked about the status of the table. For reference, their website confusingly listed the table as both backordered and shipped. It took two weeks to receive the refund for the table coverings, and despite repeated follow-ups, I didn't receive the refund for the face coverings until several weeks later—nearly two months after returning the items.
As the end of June passed, I still hadn't received the electric massage table that was supposed to arrive by then, nor had I received any status update. When I checked the website, I noticed that the backordered date had changed. I reached out to customer service again and was informed that the new expected date was August 15th. By early August, the expected date had been pushed back once more, and once again, I wasn't informed. I contacted customer service and was offered a $100 refund if I continued to wait until the end of the month. By August 7th, after waiting over three months, I informed them that I could not wait any longer (I had a massage room sitting without a functioning table this whole time). On August 10th, I confirmed (again) via email that I wanted to cancel the order and receive a refund. Five days later, they confirmed the cancellation and said they would issue a refund. Six days after that, I had to send yet another email asking when the refund would be processed. While I did receive a response the same day, saying they would check with their accounting department, five more days passed without any update or refund. Today (August 26th), I filed a dispute with my credit card company.
While I understand that some delays may have been beyond Best Massage's control, clear and timely communication was not. It’s also completely unacceptable that they still have over $1,600 of mine nearly four months after I paid them. While their products seem to be good and well-priced, that means little if the customer can't actually receive the product. After canceling the order, I ordered two similar electric massage tables from another vendor, and they were delivered within a week.
Please refrain from making excuses, questioning my honesty, or offering an empty apology. I have all the emails and transaction records to back up every claim I’ve made. I’ve purchased six tables from BestMassage.com so far, and the experience has gone downhill recently. I ordered three more tables, and the one I purchased on June 24th still hasn’t arrived. When I made the order, the website said the table would be available on July 15th. I thought that was manageable and planned to use a temporary table until then, but the delivery date was pushed to August 15th.
I called to ask what was going on, and they said customs were delayed but assured me it would arrive soon. They also offered me a $100 refund for the inconvenience, but I still haven’t received it. Every time I call, I’m told the refund will be processed right away, but nothing happens. Then the delivery date was delayed again to August 25th. Now they claim it’ll take another week and that, since the MI location is closer, the table will arrive within a day.
I also ordered two more tables for my Virginia location. I received a prompt call from the freight company (TForceFreight), and the Virginia tables were delivered immediately. But the MI location? Still nothing.
I’ve been calling since September 6th because I haven’t received any updates from the MI location. The tracking number showed no information. I finally got through to someone on September 10th, who said they would check on it, but they had no idea where the table was and didn’t provide me with any updates until the 12th. Even then, they still didn’t know what was happening.
I had to track down a customer service number myself, and despite all this, I still don’t have my table or my $100 refund. I’ve emailed again, but no response.

However, the owner Jeffery Tippman is always out of stock with important items. The reseller support manager Douglas Winschief. Purposefully attempts to sabotage large sales made. Example being. If I just made a sale for 3 electronic massage tables. And these happen to be the last tables on stock. They seem to always have a special client who needed those tables just before your informed them you would be purchasing them. This happened multiple times. Causing me thousands in lost sales and credit card charge backs. Not to mention Douglas Winschief deliberate late email responses and poor communication skills. When we would notify Jeffery Tippman of Douglas Winschief behavior via email. Jeffery Tippman never seems to respond. Also like to note the following. If you are going after a large account such as a franchise of some sort. Jeff or Douglas will not support you in anyway. The front desk staff in particular Margee and Carlos are always to busy to respond to important questions related to inventory and product as well.
