No.1 Great Wall — Restaurant in Jersey City

My husband orders from this restaurant regularly so you can say that we WERE regular customers so that's why we could not understand what happened last night! My husband order food and one of the things we ordered was a large Shrimp fried rice but upon getting our food delivered we had discovered that they sent a large plain white rice, so my daughter called back to let them know and she refused to believe that the order was wrong. So she sent her delivery guy back to get the rice to bring to her so she can see and from my understanding she was going to then send the correct container of rice. We were also going to spend even more money on a second order but then this "Lady" accuses my family of eating the shrimp fried rice and putting white rice in the box! REALLY LADY!!! She accused us of trying to cheat them of $7.00 and threatened me with the police because I told her I was coming for a refund so what I then did was speak with the police stationed on the block so there would not be any antics from them and they were gracious enough to come in the restaurant with me but she still refused to them to give me a refund and the one time I didn't have a receipt from them this mess occurred. So I was left with the plain white rice and out of money but $7.00 won't break me it's about principle and customer service and to accuse a regular customer who you have never had an issue with of something so idiotic was insulting and they will NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN GET ANY OF MY BUSINESS! We have on a frequent spent $50'-$60 an order but we were trying to cheat them out of $7.00 yeah that sounds logical. So take my advice take your business somewhere where they will accommodate you if THEY make the mistake because according to them they've been in business 23 years and are...

Called in the lady priced me at $13 for chicken wings and large soup. No problem. Man gets here goes to wrong address than says $15 for my order. I was giving him a $3 tip but the fact they had the audacity to try and charge me more and want a tip is insane. Can't even rate their food didn't have it.

Update: the restaurant just called me about my review and she was very rude. Asked me if I forgot about their delivery charge. No ma'am I didn't forget I never knew about it since it was my first time calling. Something you should tell your customers when giving them the final price. This lady wouldn't let me get one word in as I tried to explain that to her. So I hung up. She called me back 3 times...🤣🤣🤣 and left 3 voice-mail. Savage...

Update going through their reviews i see their driver made a review based off my review how insane is that? To clear up your confusion. I did not take the food nor tip because you guys were not up front with your charges. It's the principal. You stated a price on the phone and arrived with a different price. Granted if delivery isn't free you add that to the total on the phone. You don't show up with a different price then say charge for delivery. Yall are beast mode over my review. When people call you just need to be more professional and upfront when taking orders and giving a total. Granted I was gonna tip but what if I only had the exact amount she quoted on the phone, then what? Make it make sense guys. My own Experiences in this place ST. Huberts Animal warefare Center it was grate .My Dog his name is PAPI was badly sick. Without urinate three days He was badly bloke ...And all staff,Veterinary specially Matt the vet.they took good care of my papi and make fill comfortable there at St.Huberts animal center and the same day took papi my dog to Surgery cause he had fever and came out surgery grate .st hubert know what they doing the surgery was a success and now i got him papi back again and now he urinate normaly and eating grate..im soo happy and grateful because ST.Huberts animal center took good care to my dog...I Nora Burgos recomend this place St.Hubert to everybody who have dogs or cats its Nice place ,clean, they have a lots of things to share for the Animal...
