Absolutely horrific customer service. Two prescriptions were dropped off for my mother, and the pharmacist told my sister that they only had one and that she would have to call around other places for the other one. My mother was just discharged from the hospital that day and this medication Was the most important one in her treatment plan. For over two hours, we all called around different pharmacies, trying to get this medication, even reaching out to the hospital. We will also told that they were 193 prescriptions in front of her so to come back in two hours. When my sister returned, both prescriptions were ready for her when she questioned the pharmacist as to why she would tell her that we had to call around. She told her that there is a process in figuring out if they have the medicine or not when asked if she was at least sorry for causing great confusion and distress. She stated āI donāt know what youāre complaining about you got the medication didnāt youā she was extremely rude extremely dismissive and incompetent. Her name is Sandjuca And she is the reason why we will no longer be stepping a foot in a Walgreens store. Walgreens, you have to do better hiring people. Ive never known a Walgreens to lack such minimal etiquette or proper service towards customers from simple requests they complain about doing to talking about customers behind their backs and among each other as well as to other customers. To not wanting to do simple work tasks. Managers not being helpful AT ALL and giving attitudes out of the 3 Walgreens in this area that I've been too this one is absolutely horrible and it's ONLY because of the staff. Today, however, I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the older female staff members at the front counter. My school-age children briefly placed their items on the counter while the previous customer was finishing up. The staff member harshly told me not to place anything on the counter until the current customer was done.
While I understand store policies, the way she spoke was extremely rude and uncalled forāespecially considering that these were young kids and I am a frequent shopper at this location. She could have handled the situation with more patience and professionalism.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time Iāve seen her treat customers this way. She often speaks disrespectfully and uses her seniority as an excuse to behave poorly toward others. Itās disappointing that someone with such poor customer service skills is representing your store.
I hope Walgreens takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all employees treat customersāespecially childrenāwith kindness...
