Funky Monkey Playland — Attraction in Jersey Village

First off this place was a very very very fun place. There was one very big issue that I had that I wish I was able to take care of with somebody above the manager Gloria as I had a birthday party there I did not purchase the party package because we are new to Houston and I didn't know 15 kids for my child. When I got there I had been carrying all my daughters presents and decorations in by myself, one of the employees was going to roll a cart out to me so I could roll my gifts on the cart as the manager Gloria told him as he was halfway to me not to give me the cart. My sister recorded the whole thing so when I went in there I asked, am I not allowed to use the cart and she just looked at me spaciously then said that I did not get the cart because I did not purchase the package, NOW nowhere on the website did I read that the package included a cart to that helped you wheel in the presents and all that stuff. Very, very disgusted with the customer service. It was very disgusting to have to see that they will let you carry things by yourself because you did not purchase a package instead of courteously helping you bring the gifts!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody who does not purchase the package because they do not care...

Disappointed. Went yesterday and took my granddaughter. They were not busy at all. There were only two employees in the building. One was the girl at the front counter and the other was a guy at the snack bar. The guy at the snack bar sat and played video games on his phone literally the entire time we were there. Ordered my granddaughter a slice of pizza. Grabbed a high chair for her and it was filthy. All of the high chairs were very dirty. I said where he could hear me that I needed to wipe it down. He just sat there playing his video games. There was so much dirt (lint, dirty socks and trash) on the floor in the back of the older kids play area. The toddler area is totally outdated. Not really much to do in the whole place except go down a couple of slides or play in the nasty plastic balls. The ride on cars were also filthy. One of them had a broken steering wheel with sharp edges. The seats were disgusting. The whole time the guy was playing his video games, he could have been wiping things (high chairs and toys) down. I will not...

Like another review stated before me: this is a very fun place! Kids love the huge maze play yard as well as the bouncy house. Adults can also get in their workout following toddlers around in the maze/slides. The reason for the 3 star rating is only due to my observance on their sanitation. The mats and floors were pretty dusty/dirty. I went for a birthday party and although we had a blast, I kept noticing how much cleaner they could have tried to keep it. Places like these need to be a bit more diligent about messes/cleanliness as there are so many kids of all ages. I routinely saw people spill their food, drink and nobody came to sweep, mop, or much less attempt to clean. My son caught a cold a day later, bc hes teething and repeatedly kept putting those balls in his mouth (which I continued to knock off and santize). My toddler walks so I'll probably take him again on a not so busy day (hopefully it's cleaner) but I wouldn't suggest this yet to anybody who's baby is still crawling or just...
