Fantastic! This place was hoppin’ the Friday night we went. They have a small bar area with high top table seating along with the main dining area with lower tables and chairs. It’s a small restaurant, but they’re apparently doing something right! Groups of people gathered to dine and fun was had by all from my observation. I would classify this place as a “hole-in-the-wall” on the upside. The patrons were well dressed, the establishment was clean and the energy was high. They had a man playing the guitar and, what looked to be his son, playing the accordion. That piece of our experience gave it the old school Mexican mariachi restaurant feeling I haven’t had in a long time. That was a common find in the 80’s and early 90’s, but hard to find these days. It was pretty cool. We were greeted by our waitstaff within a couple minutes with chips and 3 salsas, hence the name of the restaurant. They give you 2 reds and 1 creamy green salsa. All were good, but the green one is the spicy jalapeño sauce that is hot, but so tasty you can’t stop eating it. The chips were warm and perfect weight for dipping. I ordered a frozen margarita with salt. It was good and complimented my chips perfectly. We ordered the trio fajitas for 2: chicken, beef and shrimp. Our meal arrived steaming, within 20 minutes (perfect time to enjoy the chips and the first margarita) and served with rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole. I figured the shrimp, being the priciest item on the platter would be skimpy, but I was wrong. There were 6 big shrimp along side of the good portions of chicken, beef and grilled onions. Everything was delicious! The meats were flavorful and tender. We were very impressed! Finally, the check… $54.00, including our tip (and 2 margaritas), for all of the above! Great prices!! We will return.

UPDATE: I came in 7/29 and got the same food I used to get and the price has went up!! Menu still has the same prices but I was charged a different price! I went and asked what the issue was but he stated the prices went up. But they didn’t! I just came and had a meal here last week and sat down and ate! So I’m confused! I don’t play about my money and I don’t like people who do bad business!! 1 star all the way and I won’t be returning I’ll go to Lupes! I really enjoyed the food here but I don’t do bad business practices so NEXT….. If I could 10 star I would! Let me tell you something baby!! I’m from a small town that had little Mexican restaurants like this!! I felt so at home! The food, chips, the veggies, the beans, the SALSA 💃 (I’m a salsa girl) gets 10 stars ⭐️! I mean WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO EAT!!!!! I like the salsa with the onions in it!!! Chips so crispy!!! Like wow! I was presently surprised 😮 I won’t lie!! And then let’s top the cake 🎂 & hope they don’t change this, THE PRICES are lovely!!! Affordable food, great service, makes for a happy customer!! THIS IS HOW ITS DONE! I love Mexican food & I don’t have to drive to lupes anymore because it’s far, I’ll definitely be eating here once, maybe twice a week! Definitely my new go to place!!!

An excellent Mexican restaurant which satisfied the two metrics I look for: quantities and taste. I didn't realize the significance of the name until the person I was eating out with told me they literally serve three salsas with the chips they provide. Being not a expert in Mexican food, I can only say two are the cooked tomato based variety and the other is green sauce which consists of green jalapenos, garlic and vegetable oil. The latter which I drank bowls of. I had the 3 salsa beef fajita speciality for two (24.50). It had a actuall thick cut fajita steak about 1/2 in thick. It was well grilled and very flavorful, resting on a bed of grilled onions. Sides were served on a separate plate per person; they were enough. Also the tortillas were warmed as they should be. Service was excellent, they refilled my drink and checked up on us. While the area here may be kind of seedy, I have reservations on the restaurant itself and would eat here again if given the opportunity.

The service here is very terrible. There was one waiter working all of the tables, he was handwriting tickets which is a slow process. The tacos were so greasy they could not be eaten, the enchiladas were burnt and our cups sat empty because the bus boys and waiters were to busy watching soccer to attend to any of the tables . We asked for our check and a drink to go. The guy went and hand wrote out the check with a calculator which took him a good 10 minutes then never came back to our table. He went to the kitchen and got a guy from in there to come out where they proceeded to watch and discuss the soccer game. By now 20 minutes has passed by since asking for the check and the guy went back in the kitchen and the waiter started walking toward the bar. We had to flag him down ask again for the check and he said oh I forgot. Then he disappeared into the kitchen to get the horrecha we had ordered and told me that had to make it that's what took so long. That drink comes from a fountain like a soda I'm curious to know how they had to make it. The guy at the register when told about this simply said oh sorry. To get anything took forever and the waiter had to be flagged down every time something was needed. I prefer to be checked on now and again or at least have my beverage cup filled and get the check when I ask for it. We will not be going back and should someone ask about it, I would encourage them not to waste their...
