Read moreToday is an odd-numbered night, and it could be Laylat al-Qadr. I went to pray at this mosque. What was strange is that in the women’s section on the second floor, they had men sleeping there. While we were praying, we could hear loud snoring, which disrupted our prayers. Is this even reasonable? Is it permissible to have men in the women’s prayer area? This is truly something strange. we could see them through the reflection in the glass and hear them clearly, just as they could hear us from behind the nearby curtain. I couldn’t complete my prayer and ended up returning home because of the loud snoring and my feeling that something was wrong—men sleeping in the women’s prayer area just didn’t seem right.
