First impressions: from the industrial gray facade with hints of warm distressed wood, both the exterior and interior of the building, are a blending of urban chic and Tennessee authentic pride in it’s moonshine soaked roots. The outside has Tennessee Hills branded bench seating under sail shaped sunshades, cool vintage cars and trucks and a great outdoor sound system. There is a small stage area for live music outside, and out back, a much larger venue. The interior is filled with unique decor, like the hand beaten copper bar top over whiskey barrel siding that surrounds the bottom of the bar. The huge handmade iron Tennessee Hills logo, with unique lighting, dominates the rear wall behind the bar. Vintage prohibition age photos and decor throughout the interior is well throughout and is married with exposed metal beams and carbon gray paint. Above the bar is an enormous iron chandelier with multi tier bottles of the different small batch liquors that Tennessee Hills Distillery make and sell. The combined effect creates an urban polish to Tennessee Hills fabled bootlegging history. The Brewstillery has some of the very best craft beers overseen by the brewmasters, who take pride in producing a wide variety of good beer, from summery IPAs to heady dark brews, there is something for every beer lover. All in all the Brewstillery has a relaxed, chill vibe that is both unique and fun and is a ‘must go’ destination, when visiting...

Sooo disappointed. We are new to the area, With such high reviews we were looking forward to checking this place out. We arrived at 5:58pm on a Sunday. There were 6 seated at the bar, no one at tables. My husband and I sat at a table closer to the bar so the waitess/ bartender wouldn't have to go far to serve us. She never once acknowledged us, walked past our table several times to visit with a couple who were leaving, then stayed behind the bar visiting with the 4 customers in front of her and after 10 minutes of being ignored, we walked out. Never greeted or acknowledged, even though we were seen and I smiled at her. To be blatantly ignored is rude, the service industry at this establishment was lacking. I even wondered if we were being discriminated against, so sad to treat customers this way. We would not recommend or come back. We went over to try Labels and had a fabulous meal and a...

This is an actual genuine working brewery. And their second location is an actual genuine working distillery . They definitely have the best of both worlds. The flavors and their mixologist will come up with whatever you describe that you would like to taste 😋

They have a food truck in the parking lot. I had the ribeye Burger!🍔 It was delivered to me at the bar during my beer flight. Oh and by the way your beer flight can be added onto if you can't choose four which wasn't easy for me 🤭 Who could ask for anything more. 😋

A fun place! Lots of cleverness and personality here. 😃The staff and the locals. Everyone is so friendly and they really know how to zero in on a stranger😎 and drag you into their...

I can’t say enough good things about Tennessee Hills (both the brewstillery and the Distillery in Jonesborough). Amazing atmosphere, beautiful and innovative craft cocktails, great beer, free tastings and DOG FRIENDLY! The food from The Whiskey Kitchen is unreal (try the pickle fries, you won’t be disappointed). The Callahan’s who own the place are super friendly and make you feel like old friends, and on top of that they care so much about the community they are a part of and never stop finding ways to bring entertainment and life to East TN. A must stop any time you are in the area.

Not the best of the breweries in the area. The bartender also wasn’t very knowledgeable. She couldn’t really answer questions I had and then someone next to me asked if they had any porters and she asked “is that a beer?” Beer was just ok. I’ve had the spirits at the Jonesborough location and would go back there but with better breweries in the area, don’t really need to return here.
