Unpopular opinion apparently, but not that great. I needed my charging port replaced on my laptop, and they fixed that fine, but when I got my laptop back the charger I had no longer fit, which means it was bent. This wouldn't matter, but they had my charger with the laptop and without warning I had to buy a new one. Additionally, the touchscreen no longer worked and was not available in the Device Manager. No biggie, I brought it back, under warranty, thinking they most likely just knocked some hardware out of place while replacing the charging port. I was told to expect a call the next day, which I never got. I emailed them twice with no answer. After seeing via my search history on Google and watch history on YouTube that they were looking up how to fix it, I didn't feel confident that they wouldn't mess something else up, so I went by to ask them what was going on. I was told the problem was with Windows 10, that plenty of people with this laptop model lost the touchscreen function when they upgraded, but I'd had Windows 10 long before they originally fixed my laptop, and it worked fine until then. Ultimately they told me they had tried everything they could and could not recover the touchscreen feature. I went and got my laptop, just relieved nothing else was broken or missing. When I opened it my password had been changed, so I had to jump through hoops to get it reset. They have very nice employees, but I was overall dissatisfied with my...
Read moreI dropped off my laptop there for a hinge repair. They called me 5 days later and told me they were unable to locate the part needed, which is all well and good. My problem came when I got my laptop home, and couldn't get past the diagnostic opening screen. I called back and talked to one employee who sounded very sympathetic and put me in touch with the guy who actually worked on my laptop. I was trying get my best to be polite but this employee became pretty frustrated saying that he "didn't touch my laptop enough to cause a problem" and put me on the phone with his manager. I again explained my problem to the manager who told me I was "pointing fingers" and then later in our conversation gave me false information about the contact I had received from the company. When I corrected him, he basically told me he couldn't help me and if I wanted to pay to run diagnostics I could bring it back in. I went in with one problem and came out with two. I would not recommend...
Read moreI had to have operating system loaded on my MacBook Pro so before learning of Unbound digital I had taken it to compuworld in Kingsport TN. They screwed my MacBook up tried to say mine was one with defective video card then sold me $30 laptop cooler because it wouldn't bring up my screen after charging me $100 and almost a month to screw it up. Then I learned of Unbound digital I had almost given up hope because those people at compuworld had taken the back of it off and screws were missing just to load a operating system I thought something fishy and I was right. But Unbound Digital fixed my Macbook Pro with just a few settings adjustments now I've got my MacBook and it works great these guys are good and fast service too! I highly recommend. But whatever you do don't go to CompuWorld in Kingsport if you have a MacBook LOL they'll tell you they can fix it...
