Honestly.. this venue is EVERYTHING for your wedding. The venue is so extraordinary. You get goosebumps when you walk in. Almost like you are walking directly into the ballroom scene of beauty and the beast. I promise you... you feel like a princess that day. It truly becomes your castle. And they make sure you feel at home. It has history. It has your whimsical.. it has your fairytale.. it has your romance... it has your surprises.... and best of all it has a Nancy! Nancy is the Rialto’s wedding coordinator. And she knows the venue, she knows weddings, she knows people. She would answer the most bizarre questions. I’m not kidding.. I sent her an email randomly and then also called her because I was afraid of the stairs to get on the stage. And then she reminded me I was not crazy. Lol. She also helped me figure out situations that she really didn’t have to. She helped me with the florals, the linens, the schedule. She was just there for me through the entire thing. Even when I was anxious and needed to talk it through. She knew every single detail of our day. She went above and beyond with our wedding and because of that i was calm and confident the entire day. And the day of your wedding she is always there. Anytime I would look for her she was there. And that honestly made me positive everything was going perfect.
As a matter of fact... after everyone was cleared out and I was about to get into our car to leave I simply couldn’t without going back and hugging her one more time.
She was such a huge part of our day. And I made such a wonderful...
Read moreWent to see Kevin James tonight, had an absolute blast! This was my first time here so I read reviews before attending. A lot of reviews of its "too cold" or "no leg room".....upon entering it did feel cold, but once the place was packed with people it was a nice temperature. I'm 6'0" 240 pounds, and I had ample leg room and shoulder room in the lower level seats. The only downside I will agree with is the bathrooms are not adequate for the amount of people in attendance.
Otherwise, we parked in the parking garage across from the theater, it was free. We walked across to the theater, made some chit chat with the Joliet officers on patrol along the way, definitely felt safe the entire time. Upon entering the building it was magnificent, I'm no architecture person but the building was amazing, very cool looking and very "stepped back in time" vibes. Entry was easy with ample ushers scanning bar codes of tickets. They have alcoholic (beer, wine, cocktails) and non alcoholic (pop, water) drinks in the rotunda for purchase along with coffee and small snacks like bags of chips. We made it to our aisle and the friendly ushers do a great job at checking everyone's tickets to ensure they are in the right place. Seating was great, comfortable, sound was great, concessions were open during the performance. As expected it was a little tricky with everyone leaving at the same time. Parking garage wasn't too terrible getting out of, just remember to zipper and it'll go fast.
All in all, very impressive. Definitely will look to coming to...

So much fun crowd was great his opening act j Brown was wonderful the environment was fun friendly an so wonderful! The lighting was great sound perfect just such a great experience. My only complaint was the old security guy if he was even security he was like a seat vale person, but he was rude Ill mannered. Mean an very cranky I’m 8 months pregnant I asked him to sit some where else cause the where I was i kept falling on the step in the box seat tripping not once but twice! With my ligaments stretching I’m in a lot of pain today from having to catch myself he got really rude an told me absolutely not. Then at one point literally saw him get in a ladies face screaming at her as tho she was a 7 year old child. She had to be at least mid 20 early 30 I wish someone would. Very unprofessional an did not care about anyone. Aside from that tho it was a wonderful time an beautiful place an Loved...
