I have to admit that when I saw how little stars this amazing coffee shop had, I was floored. It looks like most of it has to do with an elder lady that works (or worked) at this place. I have never met her in the 3-5 times I have been there, so I don't think she works the counter anymore, but I am not sure. So no need to worry about the service, it is beyond WONDERFUL now.
I am TOTALLY in LOVE with this place. Not only is their coffee AMAZING (MUCH better then anything at Starbucks) but they are reasonably priced, their food is amazingly good, the atmosphere is the most relaxing EVER. You can curl up with a good book while drinking their amazing coffee and enjoying their great good. Last but not least, is the owner. She is the sweetest women; we have come before when she had just closed, but she opened the doors anyways and made us coffee to go and allowed us to sit outside and enjoy ourselves. Also, I was leaving before after finishing about 1/2 my favorite drink (chilled Salted Carmel Latte, talk about YUM) and while dealing with a 3 yr old, his bad, my purse and book, I dropped the drink. I felt bad for making a mess and loved that drink so much I was going to purchase another one, but she instantly told me not to worry about the mess and that she would make me a new one. I could not believe it. She is WONDERFUL! You HAVE to visit...
Read moreAbout 12:45 I came here and it is lunch time, not so much of an issue I don’t really have anywhere to be. However when it came to ordering, I could tell there was some sort behind the scenes issues unfortunately, which as a food service manager myself (7 years), totally understand the pressures and frustration!
Any other normal customer would be like “What is going on here, what kind of service is this? I just want my food!” but I want to be completely honest and say, who cares what they think? It’s okay to have bad days, they don’t realize how hard it is to sustain all restaurant functions and regardless, the quality always comes out top tier!
I think the highlight of this visit was the girl-Lily? Absolutely impeccable service! I noticed she has good problem solving skills and she is very attentive to other guests, always asking questions and made sure to double check that the order is correct before serving and I see that she has very good situational management skills in the making and I am beyond impressed for her age!
The Caprese she served me was flavorful as always every time I come here, it’s an absolute staple and the Frozen Hot Chocolate is a knockout!
Overall, despite hiccups, I always want to come back and definitely...

Jitters banana 🍌 bread 🍞 was so warm, thick, and rich. The ice 🧊 coffee ☕️ was creamy and delightful 😋 it gave me the energy to power through the rest of my day. Their granola was crunchy and scrumptious I felt like it was homemade granola.
The co worker was so patient, answering Ama’s questions about their ingredients due to her health restrictions.
Our first visit was on our friends wedding day September 30, 2023, few months after the kidney donation surgery. GG mentioned they had really good coffee and the staff were very hard working and welcoming. I was determined to stop at the Jitters store front to see her brother ROHO Garcia’s collaboration with Joliet’s Sound of Art.
When you go inside be sure to look up 👀 at their trim with a beautiful teal/dark green color.💚 Business meetings 📆 friend get togethers, or a quick coffee with a stranger this spot is definitely 💯 a vibe in Joliet promoting art, history, and great coffee. Thank you 🙏 to the...
