Hotel Plaza — Hotel in Joliet

Talk about a “BED BUG INFESTATION” I recently went here with my husband to stay the night thinking it would be nice. Well I thought wrong the room was clean and everything looked nice until we where laying down and my husband felt something bite him 😳 I immediately checked the bed and didn’t find anything until I pulled sheets off there where so many beds bugs 🤮. I went to the front desk to tell the sara to come to the room. Sara came up to our room and I showed her the bugs. She asked me what would I like her to do I asked for a full refund and told her I am going somewhere else. She told me she can give me rubbing alcohol with with water to spray on us that the bugs would stay away from us while we slept. I told her no thanks and got my full refund. DONT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE YOU WILL BE ATE TO PIECES...

Stayed here years ago in 2017. Don't remember their names but the staff was very nice and helpful. I remember the young girl with glasses and the older guy who would assist with checkout. It was no 5 star hotel but it nice, cheap, and no frills, just what I needed at the time.

The room I got was "hostel" style which meant the bathroom and shower wasn't in the room, but shared on the same floor.

I checked out with hopes to get into a better room and nothing ever opened up due to summer just starting in downtown Joliet.

I would never say it was perfect but I honestly wish there were more hotels like this...

This location is a scam. DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT FROM THEM !!!! THEY prey on the low income, ssi and disabled. They give false hope regarding low monthly rent. They will offer a lease and let you pay for one or two months. The next day after you pay they will evict you for no reason at all. Sara Beth will then say I'm just the messenger. They will string arm you into leaving as soon as possible leaving you broke and no where to go. There will be a lawsuit. They are getting away with it because the people are just trying to survive. But I will make sure they will be exposed for the crooks...
