To start we went to celebrate my grandsons bday with 15 jumpers n guests. We chose this from being recommended by a few parents n kids. We had not been there in 3yrs. Now for my review. We get there on time n checking in,checking waivers n getting sky zone socks took aprox 30min. The girls were great but should have more knowledge on pairing sock sizes with size of kids. I asked fora "child's" size for a small 8yr girl n it turned out that she needed a women's small. The girls had no idea. All else was fine but, I couldn't forget the terrible first impression I got coming up to an old non-impressive building n entering through the horribly dirty doors! NOT a good first impression!!! Our party girl was there to meet us and she was on point in every aspect. The room space with fridge was perfect size with room to move. There is a TV mounted on the wall that was not mentioned as to what it's for. Would be nice if it at least had balloon confetti screen saver or kids music videos playing. Pizza is big n taste is good, they make it on site. Kids absolutely love the place! Grandson was thrilled he was able to play several games of dodge ball with all his party goers!! I liked that I could look down n see them playing in most areas from upstairs where our party room was. As for the elevator that I needed to use to get up there.... it IS/WAS disgusting floor had large dried spill and a fresh wet spill. Walls looked as though they had not been washed in some time. Elevator door tracks were black grime with a variety of toppings simply grossly unhealthy!!! Beware they start pushing out of the room 30min before your end time so then are you really relaxing n enjoying anymore? The reason for this is because your end time is someone else's start time! Advise to management....There should be at least 30min between parties. This is a great fun place to have a party. It takes more than a smile to keep me coming back. My other grandson wants his party there also in Sept. Will I?...
Read moreHad my son's party here. The experience was ok. It didn't seem like our host knew what she was doing. As soon as the food was distributed she told me I had to go downstairs to finalize my bill, I couldn't sit down myself to eat. She then stalked the doorway waiting for me to follow her. They also said at check in they would have the party kids sign a shirt when they check in for the party, my son has 2 signatures on said shirt, we had 19 kids participating!
My main complaint is the manager. One of my party jumpers had an accident where another kid was throwing punches at him. The manager claims to have watched the play back from it and there were no punches but shoving. My jumper had welts on the back of his head! When his parent came I advised her to talk to someone about the incident, which she was then told yes the other kid had in fact attacked my jumper and was waling on him. So why lie to the party host? To get a good review to make yourself look good?! No thanks.
So much for their employees just walking circles not even looking at the areas where kids are jumping or at a court where balls are being thrown. They need some adults to supervise their kid employees.
Will NOT be returning to the joliet location, which is a shame because we try to come once a month for our boys to work off...
Read moreWill give this place 5 stars, but for the mom with the group of middle schoolers that we had the unpleasant experience with,ONE STAR,you can do better.
We had a birthday party last weekend, and it went pretty well. Also, we visited the place today; the staff was friendly, polite, and nice—no complaints about that. The girls from front desk were very very nice. However, today we encountered a bullying situation with a group of middle schoolers. I know it’s not the staff’s responsibility to educate kids and teach them manners, but I also think some actions should be taken. The kids' behavior was so unacceptable; the words they were using—I’m shocked, to be honest, and I feel sorry at the same time, most impressive was the mom, because i think it’s our responsibility as parents to take care of the kids and attitude when situations happens, and she was there, witnessing how the kids were acting inappropriate.Feel sorry for how aggressive and mannerless some kids are becoming.
This environment is meant to be a safe space for children to play, enjoy themselves, and socialize positively. However, that should not be compromised. I strongly suggest to take actions and implement stricter measures for those who have forgotten how to behave in public. Bullying should never...
