The queso dip was really delicious and had a lot of meat in the dip. I could have just made a meal out of it alone! The chips were beautifully colored and had a good taste to them. The Fat City Club sandwich, however, was lacking. I ordered it on sourdough bread and the sandwich comes with Miracle Whip on it but I asked for real mayonnaise instead. The menu says the sandwich comes with tomato on it, but when mine was brought out it had no tomato. There was barely any mayonnaise on it, only a small drop right in the middle of the sandwich, not even a spoonful that I might could have spread around. It wasn’t what I was expecting of a club sandwich. There was no middle piece of bread, which is typical of a club sandwich. It was bread, ham, turkey, a slice of cheese, bacon, and one lettuce leaf with a drop of mayonnaise. The bread was toasted and the bacon was cooked nicely, but the coldness of the turkey and ham made the sandwich itself cold. I waited for the waitress to ask for some extra mayo, but she was nowhere to be seen. Another waitress came walking by and my friend hailed her and she graciously brought me mayonnaise. Suddenly our waitress appeared asking if we needed anything else, I’m assuming only because she saw the other waitress having dropped off the mayo. She then disappeared off to do other things. The saving grace, and the reason for the 3 stars is the meatloaf sandwich. I had a bite of my friends and immediately regretted not having ordered one for myself. It was perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned. No hint of dryness. It was a very thick slice of meatloaf along with a lettuce leaf and the added real mayonnaise between two pieces of your choice of toasted bread, in this case sourdough. I am willing to give the restaurant another chance so I can get one of the meatloaf sandwiches for myself. Hopefully we will have a better server next time around.

All the medication I've been on the last several years has had little to no effect. Some have caused life threatening experiences, once where I ended up in the ICU with tubes down my throat. The current meds in taking.. first off is way too many. I don't like the drug interactions. I got fired from my last job because my antipsycotics left me, when I showed up in the AM for work to be intoxicated.. they even called the cops and banned me.. my main problems are focusing and getting any motivation to start any one task. When I start one,and have energy,it seems misplaced, And I change right to something else, and then something different, leaving a load of unfinished work. the other is my anxiety (social, especially. I can't leave my house, without being on my medication, and if I go out to the store (without), alot of times I'll sit in front, and want to go in so bad, but I can't go in and I'll go back home), and what's worse is my panic disorder, which only my clonazepam barely keeps in check, I still think im dying, usually by a stroke or heart attack, which I have a heart murmur and I'm sure it exacerbates allot of my panic attacks. at this low dose, I run short every month (can I go back on my alprazolam, or change from 2 a day, to 3, or even 2 and a half a day? I can't hold a job at this rate, and makes me dependent on family, who Detest and resent me for how things are. they don't understand it's not a choice, but a medical problem. they just think I'm some lazy piece of shit and my only parent I have left has just about written me off.

The pictures are definitely misleading. The floors were dirty, and our hostess rolled her eyes when we asked for a booth. After she wiped it down, she told us where it was. So we escorted ourselves to the other side of the restaurant. There was nobody else waiting, so I don't blame her if she had more important things to do. Like maybe sweeping the floors because they're littered with paper, straws, and discarded chunks of food.

We paid about $40 total for the loaded chicken and grilled chicken with salads and an appetizer. The plate is really large for the breast, a mini dinner breadstick, and a small bowl of broccoli and cheese. The chicken was dry and there was still water in the bottom of the bowl and unmelted shredded cheese on top.

The loaded chicken had nearly raw onions on top and two slices of partially melted cheese singles. I noticed a similar review on this dish from a month ago, so either negative reviews aren't taken very seriously or there's inconsistency in the kitchen. This place has an overall high rating, though, so they must be doing something right. I just couldn't figure out what that is from a single visit.

If the cooks are tired, the servers are certaintly as well. I'm not sure what's going on with management, but it's 2 in the afternoon and everyone seems like they're ready to go to bed.

I could do better with $40 and a microwave. I have a feeling that the poor service and food quality are symptoms of a much larger issue that customers can't see.

Best of luck to the servers and cooks. I hope things improve, but I won't be coming back - definitely not worth the risk...
