My family and I just moved to Joshua. Sonic has always been our favorite place to eat. I am a teacher in Mansfield, and on my way home from a long day at work, I stopped at Sonic to grab dinner. My son was in the car with me and really wanted his usual 2 corn dogs and tots meal. I ordered and waited at least a good 10 minutes before I received our food. I didn't mind waiting as the service up until now had been very friendly and fast. Plus, it was a Tuesday night. However, I became upset when I received our food and checked the bags. One of my son's corn dogs was not in the bag, and there was no gravy provided with my chicken tender meal. To really make things worse, when I pressed the red button and told the young lady the items were missing, she never once apologized for anything. All she said was we will have that out to you. So, I waited and waited and waited by this time our food was getting cold, and still no one ever came out to the car with the missing items that I paid for. So, I pushed the red button again, and the same young lady answered. I was frustrated by this time and told her I was still waiting to get my missing food items, and this time, she didn't say anything. So, I sat another 5 minutes before driving off without the food I paid for and no apology from anyone. My son and husband's food was cold when I got home, and microwave food doesn't taste the same as fresh hot food from the grill. We will not return and pay our hard earned money at this Sonic ever again. It doesn't matter how good your food is if your customer service isn't better than the food you serve, then all you have is good food and a recipe for disaster. A little over a month ago we ordered food even though the time before that our food was incorrect. So when I got home our burgers were cold and wrong again. I know I should have checked them there but over the last 4 or 5 years the service and accuracy had been great 98% of the time and everyone makes a mistake. So I called from this last experience and the manager was very friendly and she gladly offered to take care of it next time which was good because I didn't want to drive back up there. That brings us to yesterday. I arrive at sonic and mention that our burgers had been wrong the last time and that the manager had left a note in "the book" for 2 burgers. I was then told there was no note and that they didn't keep anything past 30 days. A little disappointed with that especially since we are trying to regain lost business. But, I just go with and say that's OK I'll just pay for it again we have things to do today. I then proceed to order our food just over $20 for the 2 of us. Get home open up our food and now not only is the order wrong but it seems they made an extra effort to add things that don't even come on their burgers. Omitting chz on my wife's burger adding ketchup to both burgers and mustard along with mayo to one of them. Perhaps I'm unclear on what is supposed to come on them but I'm pretty sure it's not every sauce. There was a diesel next to me and they couldn't hear me. Not their fault. Went to a different stall and for some reason the first stall when they were busy they answered right away. Them when I moved a loot if people left and they were slower and it took them 7 minutes to get my order. Then he could remember what I ordered 2 seconds after I ordered. Then when I finish my order he comes out to tell me I can't have something because it's being cleaned since they are closing soon. Well you're not closed yet I was here for a bit before you closed. I guess they are more worried about getting out soon as able rather than fixing there customer what they. This place is known for ice cream. You should always have everything with that until you close. Thinking I might not come back for a bit. My order was $41.64. I only gave $5 for a tip. They only reason I gave that us because there lady who delivered the food I've had before and I know it wasn't her that caused that. But them inside do cause the wait staff tips to disappear. Very disappointed. I can go to Chili's it any restaurant like that, spend there same amount of money, get better food and probably better service. I chose to do Sonic, not theirs. Bad choice on me.
