We had been here before and the experience then, was just ok. The ONLY reason we went back was because my wonderful wife told me the restaurant had changed ownership. We got there later in the evening and noone was there. They were cleaning up and the lady who was dusting off a rug, came over and mentioned they were going to close in about an hour. The chips 🍟 and salsa she brought out, were just ok. The lady told us not to rush, and take our time ordering. We ordered fajitas and an enchiladas plate. The lady when we were ordering, reminded us to take our time to eat and not to rush. By that time I started feeling rushed. We received our meal, and a guy in a cap came from out the kitchen and asked us politely if we needed anything else? You guessed it, he added that he was not rushing us. He told us to take our time because they were closing in half an hour. The lady came right behind him and asked if we needed anything else as she slipped the check on the table. By this time, we were ready to leave.. I realized the flavor of the food had not changed any. It was the same thing I remembered from 6 months before that. Plain, lacking flavor and mediocre at best. The beef fajitas just didn't taste right to me, and the beans were mucky, bland and flavorless. The tortillas were probably bought from the sonic or gas station down the street. The servers were kind, the atmosphere was beautiful and the decorations gave me a sense and taste of Mexico 🇲🇽 that the food was lacking. My wife also passed on the enchiladas and asked if perhaps I thought sonic might still be opened. I assured her there was no rush as we rushed to to get up...

This place has a lot of potential and you can tell they invested a lot of money into this place. Their food is good but with the people working there it’s going to go downhill. The girl that took our order didn’t write it down she just memorized it and after we told her what we wanted she asked my parents to repeat their order again and she still got it wrong when it came out. The whole time we were there the girl that takes orders was cursing singing out loud and laughing. You could tell they were playing in the kitchen. Makes you think if they’re doing something to your food they’re not supposed to. She never asked us if we wanted more water napkins or salsa. I had to get up and get napkins from another table. I placed a to go order before leaving which was a burrito with just the meat, rice , and beans when the cook asked what we order she just said a burrito but not how I ordered it. The cook had to come out of the kitchen and double check with me if it was with everything on it and clearly the girl that took my order didn’t tell her that it was just with the meat, rice, and beans. You can tell the girl working in the front doesn’t care about customer service she was even talking out loud about buying underwear at Victoria Secret. First time coming here and I will never come back. For the owner to figure out who I’m talking about she was working the front 8/6 the...

Went with my daughter today for a quick lunch. Not a bad experience, but also not my favorite Mexican have ever had. I queso was very very thick and I wasn’t loving the flavors of the enchilada sauce. Maybe this was more TexMex and less traditional…. But from my 9 years of travel (see my reviews of local restaurants in Puerto Vallarta) , I have never had anything like what I had here. Although this place is not my style…. The staff was friendly and did go above and beyond. Mom and daughter were the ones running it! I would try it again and see if maybe it was just the dish I ordered. I don’t love raw onion in my enchiladas and was anticipating they would be cooked. The potatoes were covered I. The same sauce…. So it was A LOT of the same flavor on the plate.

The drink my kiddo got wasn’t well blended and had such large chunks of ice it would go through the straw.

The rice was really good! Lots of flavor. The salsa was good enough I would get it a quart to go for at home. Has great flavor and heat. We did enjoy that!

This review is a reflection of my own personal excperiance and I would recommend giving it a try for yourself when in the area. It’s a lovely place ran by a very...

As you walk in you’re met with a full array of COLOR from all the beautifully decorated Tables and Chairs. From the looks of it they are all hand made and painted which gives this place a family, Mexican vibe. The prices are a little above average for the place it’s located at and the sign on the bathroom entrance says . “All those who tip go to heaven.” -So tip but at Checkout the tip starts at 20% I got tacos which were really flavorful and the Tortilla was different because it had this taste of seasoning as well. The chicken tacos were okay but the chicken needed a little salt, the pastor was super salty but good at the same time, the steak was cooked well and presentation was nice. They didn’t have Jamaica juice but the sweet tea was good. For me it’s a try once spot because of the prices. More affordable tacos spots around and for the same quality of tacos.

I cane here for the first time and the first thing I noticed was that it's so much prettier and nicer than the reviews I seen of this place. So, I'll upload current pics of the inside for yall! The seating is beautiful! Very nice tables and chairs! Theres also a total of 6 tvs in this restaurant for those who enjoy watching tv and eating. The menu is on the wall but they also have the paper/book menus as well. They accept cash and card. It's a small place but it's perfect. The pretty girl that took my order also is the one who jumped back there and started cooking my food and I can even sit here and watch. She's wearing her gloves and getting it done! Also there's someone else prepping on the side! I ordered 3 flour tortilla tacos and added cheese to them and a sweet tea. They look amazing and taste amazing too!
