One of my favorite places in Jupiter. Not only is it for an amazing cause with all the work they do to help rescue our sea turtles. They go above and beyond to nurse them back to health with the goal always being to be able to release them back into the ocean but it is also a fun experience to learn about our oceans. Very educational for both children and adults. There is always staff on the floor telling the stories of the turtles that are there at the time and answering any and all questions people have. A must see for anyone visiting or even locals like me who just want to get out for a bit and see our beautiful sea creatures and learn more about them. If you can ever get to witness a release dont miss it! It truly is an amazing experience. Most of the pictures I posted are from the most recent turtlefest 2019 which is an amazing festival dedicated to our marine life, preserving our oceans and learning about the effects of plastic and trash which is slowly killing our oceans and marine life. Fully set up with tents from local vendors. A must see for all from just visiting the park to any if their festivals to witnessing a turtle release.

It rained and rained yesterday, and this place so packed (for good reason) that parking was difficult to find. But persistence paid off, and the one hour visit was well worth it. First, who doesn't love turtles, those comical, vulnerable creatures? The venue is a rehab center show casing many isolated tanks for the injured species of all sizes, great and small. There's plenty of exhibits, jelly fish, amazing art wall, a shark tank, tropical fish aquarium. There's interactive stuff for the kids, a huge gift shop, a pizza stand with outdoor seating. Truly, a special place, rain or shine. Admission is by donation. As this was our first time, we gave $10 cash. In retrospect, I should have given more. Juno is a bit far from where we live (60 miles), but it's definitely worth going back to, next time with the grandkids.

Wonderful experience. The place works at rehabilitating injured or sick sea turtle species to a state they could be released back to the sea. Many are injured by boats and sharks or have diseases or malnutrition. The day we went, two turtles were released and we saw one being actively worked on. Several tanks have species currently under care that can be viewed with details of their state and treatment. No charge for admission but a donation of $5 per person is suggested. Small play area and gift shop. Good for adults and children old enough to understand what they are seeing. Not the best place for kids under 5 as it will not hold their interest (except for the gift shop!).

Amazing place doing amazing things. The museum area, while small, is great to teach kids about Marine life and habitats. Exhibits teach about types of turtles and other shoreline plants and animals, as well as the effects of litter and pollution. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and eager to share information about the turtles they were rehabbing. A great stop for kids and adults alike. The turtle area is outdoors, however, so it's very warm, dress accordingly and bring water. It's a small area where the turtles are so even people with reduced mobility should be able to see all the "patients". Overall a great experience and opportunity to see these graceful creatures.

This place is amazing! There were 20 turtles into the sick tanks. The facility is very clean and the staff was amazing! Several asked us if we had any questions about anything. They're helping save our sea turtles! Even though the entry fee is free I still donated. It's a great place to take kids. The Tortuga Cafe has a good selection of snacks and you can watch turtles while you eat. The gift shop is packed full of great stuff! There isn't a lot of parking by the side but there is more to the back of the building. It's also a very quick walk to the beach from the parking lot.

For a place that's free and only requests donations of what you can afford, I highly recommend stopping here. They don't always have alot of loggerheads but this time there were 17. As super cool as this part is, they also have many fish tanks with awesome sea creatures to view. They have an awesome interactive area inside for the kids that they will love where they get to create and paint and draw a sea creature to then send it to the screen on the wall. They love this. We also got to watch the jellyfish being fed which was neat. Highly recommend.
