I drove 3 hours to get here and it did not disappoint! I don’t want to give away all the surprises, but just know you absolutely must go here . The volunteers are super friendly, they are knowledgeable, and the crowd was small even on the weekend, but remember there is a $10 donation consideration, and since I tap pay everything, right when I went to do it my phone died , so I wasn’t able to donate right away , and they still treated me with stellar love. Of course I had to go back to the car to fast charge my phone bc I had to take pics, lol, but they were all just super. Seeing a sea turtle up close like that, I can’t ever remember seeing one like that anywhere. Not Sea World, or any of the places I’ve been. It’s such an awesome experience. They know your there, they are quirky and funny and majestic. My love for them magnified. Seeing all their colors, shapes, fins, watching them glide in the water, seeing the display in the back of the water tank area (don’t miss it , I almost did) showing how large they are with their shells and skeletons on exhibit was so awe inspiring. They can get taller than me? I never knew. So neat, so fun, and so nice to be around people who love volunteering for such great cause. Cheers to them , and I am excited for you if you’ll be going bc it was worth the drive , and the memories will...

Loggerhead Park in Jupiter is a hidden gem that blends natural beauty with thoughtful amenities. Located on U.S. Hwy 1, this 4.8-star-rated park offers a fantastic mix of turtle sanctuary, picnic area, and beach access, making it a great spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

One of the standout features is the stunning marine-themed art installation, which adds a vibrant and creative touch to the park. Crafted from recycled materials, this underwater-inspired display showcases colorful fish, coral, and other marine life, serving as both an artistic centerpiece and a reminder of the importance of ocean conservation.

Beyond the artwork, Loggerhead Park provides a turtle sanctuary, aquarium, and shaded areas, perfect for a relaxing picnic or a break from the Florida sun. The nearby beach access allows visitors to enjoy the pristine shoreline, whether for a leisurely stroll or a refreshing dip in the ocean.

With its blend of recreation, art, and coastal charm, Loggerhead Park is a must-visit destination in Jupiter. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a fun-filled day with family, this park delivers an...

One of my favorite places in Jupiter. Not only is it for an amazing cause with all the work they do to help rescue our sea turtles. They go above and beyond to nurse them back to health with the goal always being to be able to release them back into the ocean but it is also a fun experience to learn about our oceans. Very educational for both children and adults. There is always staff on the floor telling the stories of the turtles that are there at the time and answering any and all questions people have. A must see for anyone visiting or even locals like me who just want to get out for a bit and see our beautiful sea creatures and learn more about them. If you can ever get to witness a release dont miss it! It truly is an amazing experience. Most of the pictures I posted are from the most recent turtlefest 2019 which is an amazing festival dedicated to our marine life, preserving our oceans and learning about the effects of plastic and trash which is slowly killing our oceans and marine life. Fully set up with tents from local vendors. A must see for all from just visiting the park to any if their festivals to witnessing a...

It rained and rained yesterday, and this place so packed (for good reason) that parking was difficult to find. But persistence paid off, and the one hour visit was well worth it. First, who doesn't love turtles, those comical, vulnerable creatures? The venue is a rehab center show casing many isolated tanks for the injured species of all sizes, great and small. There's plenty of exhibits, jelly fish, amazing art wall, a shark tank, tropical fish aquarium. There's interactive stuff for the kids, a huge gift shop, a pizza stand with outdoor seating. Truly, a special place, rain or shine. Admission is by donation. As this was our first time, we gave $10 cash. In retrospect, I should have given more. Juno is a bit far from where we live (60 miles), but it's definitely worth going back to, next time with the grandkids.
