Parking is free even during a holiday such as July 4 weekend. Tropical vegetation can be seen on the way to the beach. Beware of wooden markers with plastic tape. These markers will be in a triangular shape and mark Loggerhead Turtle egg sites. Locals said there is a one thousand dollar fine for disturbing these nests of eggs. There are several entrances onto the beach from the parking area. Make sure to wear footwear such as flip flops or even better crocks or tie on shoes as the beach sand is very hot until you reach the waters edge. Read moreAs a native Floridian and a born and raised Palm Beach County resident, it’s been ages since I’ve actually been to a beach. This day was perfect. One for the memory book. I arrived at a decent time ( around 10:00 A.M.). There was plenty of parking. I loaded up my cart and off to the beach I went. Not a fan of the stairs (when you have a cart full of beach items). The water was cool to the touch. After a few hours, I did have to take down the cabana. The wind picked up and was strong (when it was cloudy). Even though it was cloudy, it never rained. I stayed for about six hours. Like I said it was a perfect day-to relax on a perfect beach - nice, peaceful, tranquil, and fun. In a way, it felt like my own private beach. I would recommend and...
