I highly recommend M&M Studios! I recently ordered custom framing for my college diploma, and they did an excellent job! The studio staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Perhaps most importantly, they execute customer orders well.
The studio and its staff were effective from the start. I had a general idea of what I wanted for my framing, but I needed to narrow down my choices. Thankfully, the brands of framing materials they carry are listed on their website, which meant I could conduct some research and come to their studio prepared with some options in mind. They have an apparently comprehensive selection of frames and mats, and they have quality glass and plexiglass, as well. I tend to be detail-oriented and I take my time weighing different choices, but I was delighted with how patient the staff were. Most importantly, the staff were highly knowledgeable of the materials and frame assembly process. They clearly explained each of the options I had for framing my diploma, which I found enormously helpful in my decision-making.
They impressed me with their execution of my order after my first visit. They initially said that my order would be ready within a couple weeks, but only a few days had passed before they called to notify me that they finished everything! They did a fantastic job; they stuck with the details I provided for the order, and the work was flawless. The staff allowed me to inspect the final product before I made my last payment. Conveniently, they appear to allow customers to pay one half of the order price on the first visit and the other half during pick up. They made a great effort when packaging my framed diploma, as well.
If their framing work is excellent, then I imagine that their other services are worth the money, as well. If you live anywhere near M&M Studios, then I suggest you pay them a visit and see how they can...
Read moreMy name is Doug Powell and I am an artist from Orlando Florida. My art medium is very unusual in that it is a two dimensional collection of thousands and thousands of recycled computer keys from computer keyboards. Most of my art is very large. Usually 5-6 foot in dimensions. I have challenged a handful of professional photographers to shoot my art with the goal of being able to read the letters on each and every key over the last few years. The results have always been marginal at best but good enough for magazines and standard prints. In this case the order was to digitally capture a 60 x 60 Peace sign created with literally 6000 plus computer keys and reproduce it in the same size and be able to read the sharp letters of every key enabling the viewer to find a huge word search of musicians or bands you might have seen at Woodstock or heard on the radio in 1969-1970. M & M accepted the challenge. Every key is a reflective concave mirror to the camera and lighting is extremely fussy not to mention distortions and refraction. Their team got a little briefing from me on some of the problems I have encountered in the past over the phone. They absolutely nailed it. The clarity was so crisp that when the final full sized reproduction on canvas was finished, you could not distinguish between the original computer key art and the photographed one unless you went up to the piece and touched it. The color correction was spot on. Professional, experienced, cost effective and obviously a great focus on attention to detail would be how I describe M & M Studio's services. With this new quality level attained with my difficult to capture computer key mosaics, I am incorporating a whole new product line for my art business taking advantage of their metal printing or sublimation...
Read moreI want to thank the entire team at M&M Studios. We had a lot of work done with them and absolutely could not be happier. We are so impressed with their great aesthetic sense, professionalism, and kindness. Everyone we worked with was incredible and really worked together well. We had several very large paintings on canvas framed, as well as metal prints, and smaller paintings, diplomas, etc. We also had a massive triptych (7' x 10.5') printed and stretched. We literally had all of our art, which was a substantial amount, framed or re-framed for a cohesive feel throughout our new home. Additionally, we were moving and needed every piece of art (more than 20 pieces) carefully wrapped with plastic and cardboard corners to ensure a safe move. Needless to say, everything arrived in perfect condition and looks incredible in our new home. I highly recommend M&M Studios for any and all of your framing or printing needs. They are the BEST!!!! ...
