The Spirit Shoppe — Attraction in Kalamazoo

WORST ATTITUDE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE (Wish I can give it zero stars...)

We have been going here for 2 years since we moved to Kalamazoo. I have been very happy with their work. Unfortunately there was an alignment issue with the last order from them. The logo was printed too far down from the jacket logo. It does not look good and it became an eye sore.

I called the shop back and spoke with Katie, the co owner of the shop. She told me to email her the photos of the jacket they did in the past (nicely done) and the jacket they just did (Same type of jacket). Afterwards she told me that there is nothing they can do because she believes that it was done right... I was very frustrated and all she can do was to be defensive and not taking blame for their mistakes. She ended up saying I can get the 15 dollar refund, but what about my 120 dollar jacket that you ruined???

She pretty much told me to stop sounding angry and nothing she can do. Ok, THANK YOU KATIE for all your help...

I had a really terrible experience here and I am so upset over it. I have always heard great things about here and I was so disappointed about my visit. I originally went in on a Saturday and the lady told me to come back in on Monday to order when the manager was there. So I went with some other students and the lady was completely rude to us. First she told me that I must have misunderstood what the girl said on Saturday because there was no way they could do polos at the price I was told...it was $1 more. Then my friend asked to see some of the other logos and told us it would take her 15-20 minutes to look for them if we really wanted to see them. Some of the forms had errors and she blew it off when we pointed them out. So I'll post an update once I get them in and pray they are...

The Spirit Shoppe is the place to go for Western Michigan University apparel. This store is much cheaper than the book store on campus. I highly recommend you go here first for shirts, hats, cups, sweatshirts, and bags. They even do custom additions to things.
