Cottage Inn Pizza Kalamazoo — Restaurant in Oshtemo Charter Township

Normally I would say 5 stars, but today they forgot to put the parmesan cheese on my calzone, otherwise great food ( pulled pork with sweet baby rays bbq, mushrooms, and shredded parmesan cheese is a great way to go js)

I had to update my review and drop off a star or 2 for the following reason:

I ordered my normal calzone (listed above) which I do everytime I order, but today there was red pepper added and no sweet baby rays. So I call the store on kl ave to let them know about the mistake. When offered a new calzone or a credit for one on my next order I opted for the deferral until my next order. Next thing you know there's a note on my account saying not to accept my order and the manager "couldn't understand why they took my order this time." Not sure what's going to happen, but if I have to contact corporate then I will. I made sure to take pictures if the calzone, the order sticker and the post where the owner thanked me for the "awesome review" I...

I live up the road from the KL Ave location I got a text coupon went online to order and it didnt complete the deal so I thought placing the order and calling in would fix the issue I mean it was just an apple pie pizza. I called gave my info and the first person put me on hold to ask his manager Ashley came back and said we cant honor that its a corporate coupon and we are a franchise so I asked to speak Ashley who was rude beyond words stating it was thier stores policy not to honor corporate coupons i said ok cancel my order then ill order elsewhere and she hung up on me. If a franchise then coupons should be honored im sorry if there is a disconnect between your online ordering and your phone ordering but once again not my issue. So I wont order again and will spread the word about how rude i was treated maybe Ashley should not be a manager if she cant respect customers show empathy and sincerity something any manger should...

I have lived in Kalamazoo and enjoyed cottage inn pizza for a long time, but the customer service has been very bad recently. I recently got a coupon for a free pizza, tried to redeem it online, promo code wouldn't work, I called and they told me to bring the actual coupon in and they would honor it. A couple days later I bring in the coupon, an employee was extremely short with me and had an attitude with me as if it was my fault this coupon problem happened. I ask them if they would do anything to correct it, said they might be able to give me half off a pizza, right then and there. I didn't want to buy a pizza at the moment and said he couldn't give me anything to get it at another time. Long story short, this was my last time dealing with the bad service and lack of effort to make mistakes right. I will no longer be going to Cottage inn and recommend others go to Erbelli's or Roma's. Much better taste and...
