I liked this gym when I first starting coming here. I don’t like contracts. I found it ridiculous that I had to pay $100 monthly simply because I didn’t want to sign a contract. But I did it. Every single month without complaint. I was practically here everyday for almost 3 years. All was good until this lady (not sure who she is). Came up to me stating my payment never went through. Which confused me because, I don’t enter the gym until the payment is even made. I realized for the month they were referring to. I went to Hawaii for the entire month. So why would I need the entire month for a membership? Realizing that before I left. I paid for a 1 day pass. At $15 dollars. Yet again, absolutely ridiculous price. I digress. Someone messed up and pro rated 1 month. I didn’t ask for this. It was a mistake. But I didn’t say a word. You got your money. I should have complained, but I didn’t. The problem wasn’t this. It was the way it was handled. She came out and spoke to me as if I was hiding from them or something!! Can you freaking believe that??? I was so shocked!! I never say this, but lady I make more money than your entire office staff COMBINED. You think I’m worried about YOU!?Stating she called me a bunch of times as if I was IGNORING HER! I can’t leave a good review in good conscious. Not too mention the amenities can never be used. Sure, you have a pool. But if you have a full time job. Good luck using it when it’s not being used by the swimming team, or open swim, or some type of event that nobody real cares about. Not leaving any spaces open for others. The staff in the weight room are so rude. I’ve never seen them help anyone. EVER! Constantly have bad attitude, and look rude as can be. This is stated by EVERYONE that goes here. The only reason you have any business is because you’re a small town. If this gym was anywhere else in the world, it would have went out of business by now. No way they could keep up with a quality gym. I came here practically every day for 3 years. I know what I’m talking about. Practically everyone agrees with what I’ve said above. But who cares right? Extremely small town, and the only choice you have! So thankful my work stent is done here. I will NEVER be back. Now that I’m back in a world that I know I’ve realized this. The staff, and the people who attend are amazing. I’m talking about my new gym, with a quality experience. Faaaaar from this gym. I’m an outgoing person. But I didn’t care to give any part of my personality to those here. Which is truly unfortunate for you. Good luck!
Edit: came back to read through some of the comments. This issue isn’t deranged customers. It’s absolutely, an ownership/management issues. They are the ones to blame. I don’t know how anyone in this type of position can sleep at night. Knowing they do such a...
Read moreRacism at summit. Adding this in, after initial review. So my son has been harassed by several staff members. In several of these instances I caught in on camera. In the most recent a women named Jonnette was "tracking down" my son and kicking him out. I should mention my son is mixed. Targeting him when none of the other children are being targeted. It's sad, I've been going here 20 years and now I don't feel safe to being my son here. Sorry for being vague on details, needing to contact attorney on how to proceed with the racism we have faced.
(End of new review)
The Summit practices anti-social distancing.
The Summit or now called "Logan Fitness" has all but one drinking fountain closed. This is forcing every person who wants a drink to crowd super close together. In addition is somehow covid is spread to a fountain. This will cause even a greater number of people to get infected, being everyone is forced to drink from a single location. And most people don't drink water bottles.
I filled a complain and even talked to someone after waiting over a month. They promised to fix this. Another 2 month later and nothing.
It seems like Logan Fitness is trying to hurt people. Scary to think this is a medical fitness center with vulnerable people.
Why can't you reduce the risk by opening up drinking fountain? Are they...
Read moreIn March I joined the Journey2Wellness program at my physician’s request to lose weight, gain strength and build endurance to prepare for knee replacement surgery. I paid the full $300 fee for the 3 month program on my first visit, even though paying monthly was an option. I attended the initial consultation, about 3 water aerobics classes and attempted one painful walk around the track. Then COVID hit and they were shut down. On my own, at home, I met my goals and had surgery in June. Yay! When The Summit reopened the pools were in need of repair. I requested a refund at this time, but was asked to keep my account frozen until the pools opened. I agreed. Pool therapy is great for knee surgery recovery. When the pool finally did open they still did not offer classes. I was disappointed and requested another refund. By this time COVID cases were exploding in the Flathead Valley to the point of community spread and my physician recommended I avoid public places. After a few blunt emails $150 of my $300 payment was refunded to my account. I had requested at least $200 be refunded, and to speak with a supervisor or director but was denied. This is so unfair for 2 weeks of a 3/month program. My advice is to only pay monthly when given the option, you never know when a pandemic will limit...
