Hoping that KVTA will improve their customer service and not continue to shatter the dreams of the youth in our community who just want the opportunity to act and be a part of Broadway. My daughter was denied an opportunity to participate in the most recent summer camp 2021. The camp had only been in session for just two days and I was told that she could not attend because camp had already started. There were spots available and I was available to do my part to complete whatever registration needed for her to attend. I and my husband followed up via phone to request information to be notified of future opportunities for the camp and other upcoming auditions, we were told by a KVTA staff member that they don’t have any information on that and my daughter still can’t attend because the camp at already started. Of course this made the situation much more frustrating because at this point I felt like my concerns were not even being heard or taken seriously. I was being rushed off the phone as if what I was asking was an issue. I’m expressing this here in hopes that KVTA will have a moment of transparency to better their customer service practices and adapt company values that align with the dreams and passions of the youth in our community. Also for the parents of past and current participants of KVTA, I ask that you re-evaluate if KVTA values align with the best opportunity for your child’s journey to their dreams. I am praying that you all don’t ever have to experience the same level of mistreatment and lack of support as my child...
