ALDI — Local services in Kankakee

I went in to get some snacks and drinks for my 4 daughters for a day trip! I set a sparkling water on the belt, and it rolled off when the cashier moved the belt forward. I picked it up, and handed it to the cashier Christina, and told her it fell off im going to run to get a new one. She said with an annoyed tone, “OK?” So I said Ok in the same tone , which infuriated her. I ran to get a new one, a few feet away. When I came back she was aggressively throwing my items in the cart. I know that sounds dramatic , but she scanned 15 items in less than 30 seconds. I handed her my new sparkling water she scanned it , and threw it in the cart. I said she needed to get me a new one bc my kids would get that everywhere she got mad and said she would refuse to replace it. So i opened it , and sure enough it came fizzing out. When she handed me the receipt she said with the most condescending tone ever,have the day you deserve ! Well Karen , I mean Christina we had an amazing day. Fair Oaks Farm was beautiful and I got to hang out with my beautiful loving daughters! Life is just tooo short to get that mad about an accident a customer makes ! I usually get there right as they open. I would rather be in and out and not be there when the crowds are there. The employees are super helpful and friendly. I asked one employee about instacart and ordering. So apparently the Kankakee are is part of Chicagoland and so we have higher prices. Those higher prices are passed down to you if you use the instacart app. No pricing discounts. I didn't really notice until I seen a gallon of milk for $3.50. Great parking - I never have to park to far from the store entrance. The prices are usually about $0.50 cheaper than Walmart, but much cheaper than Jewel. Not a huge selection of products, however it does have a wider selection of cheeses, for example. All in all, great for quite a few things on your grocery list, especially for healthy food items, but definitely needs to expand selection of items for me to knock out my entire...
