Beauty Icon Beauty Supply — Attraction in Kansas City

Prices are ridiculously crazy for the quantity and quality. There is a store in grand view that sell ALOT of the same product for instance that teal color, package of butterfly distress hair!!! They are charging 10.99 and in that package is no more than 7-9 locs, same packages at the locations in grand view for 5.99 MORE LIKE ! Not cause we the consumers trying to get over but because we the consumers want our moneys worth. The Jams? Ridiculous you guys play with the numbers you do per the color jar cause we’ve been tricked to think one works better than the other. It’s a mindset check the ingredients, plus have you notice what you get in a big jar of ham can all fit in SMALL jar size? We be paying for the size of the jar you don’t get more cause it’s bigger still getting a small size of jam. WALMARTS are selling the jams all colors for ONE ☝🏾 PRICE . There is ALSO 2 BLACK OWNED locations in the city selling the same products for less these people...

Honestly, I love Icon Beauty Supply I live down the street and around the corner from it and I try to buy something at least four to five times a week. They have the biggest hair, nails and eyelash section out of any beauty supply that I've been in in Kansas City, I go there to get nails at least three times a week I love their nails as they are extremely affordable. Plus they're always having sales on their hair and nails I like that they have sales papers for their hair, no other beauty supplies have sales papers for their hair at all. As long as I'm living in the neighborhood I will always shop at Icon Beauty also, they workers are extremely friendly and helpful and I like conversating with then when i go to their store. Honestly my favorite hair store! I drive all the way from Blue Springs to here when I can. They always have amazing deals on hair and even clothes. The employees are friendly, patient, & knowledgeable it’s a breath of fresh air to be able to walk into a hair store and not see employees hanging over the counters on their phones. I spent 10 years working in the beauty supply industry and besides one other store in Atlanta I can’t think of any other store who can compare. They are so patient and kind especially with me and my stupid cards never working lol I went in with my babies the other day after my vehicle was broken into and they had great SO MANY GREAT deals and even listened to me vent.
