As a Mainer living in Vermont, Bull Moose has always been one of those nostalgic favorites I only get to visit when I head back home. So imagine my surprise when I discovered there was a Bull Moose right in Keene, New Hampshire—a total game-changer for my occasional road trips. After a day trip to Concord, Massachusetts, I made a point to swing by Bull Moose Keene on the way back, and I’m so glad I did. Just like the others, this location had that familiar mix of Blu-rays, DVDs, books, CDs, games, and all the odds and ends you’d expect from a store that’s part record shop, part geek haven, and part treasure trove. I’m in the process of rebuilding my physical Blu-ray collection, so I zeroed in on their movie section and walked out with five great films for under $40—a steal in today’s media market. It’s always a treat when a place that feels like ā€œhomeā€ pops up closer to where you are, and this Bull Moose is now firmly on my radar. I’ll definitely be back.

I used to have Bull Moose as a 5 star store, but in the past year I felt the need to change that to a 2 due to how high they have raised their prices for pre-owned games, vinyl and more. Back when my score was 5 star, I could find games to add to my personal collection for the perfect price, just under market value enough that it was worth it, but not too low that people could scalp/resell. Now everything is market value or MORE and it is extremely saddening to see this store become greedy because I used to really love it. They sold Mario Party 6 for $125 when market value is $80 and Silent hill for $180 which is market value, but is absolutely insane that about a year ago they would've only sold it for like $75. I can't even remember the last time I bought a game/record for my personal collection from here where I didn't feel alienated by how much I paid. I miss the old Bull Moose, can we bring it back?

Bullmoose has been a favorite store of mine for a couple years at this point. One of the reasons being because they had a cool kpop section. Did they do away with this? Online lists kpop albums in stocks, but in store the section is gone. Did it move? I could not find it. Maybe it is mixed in now with other genres? Either way, it loses a star 🌟 from me. Editing my review! I did get help from an employee and they showed me where they moved the K-Pop section. Very happy it was not gone completely! Thanks for your help Bullmoose. Still my favorite local store!

I’m writing to share my disappointment regarding a recent phone interaction with this location.

I called simply to inquire about the number of reward points I had on my account and whether they could be applied toward a guidebook I currently have on hold. Unfortunately, my request was misunderstood by the first associate I spoke with, who believed I was asking about price matching with an item I had seen online—which was not the case.

Rather than clarifying with me directly, the associate transferred me to another team member who had already been told the incorrect version of the story. When I attempted to explain that I was not asking for a price match and was instead referring to my reward points, I was met with a dismissive and facetious tone. Despite remaining calm and respectful throughout the conversation, I felt dismissed and not heard. The call ended abruptly with a very curt ā€œgoodbyeā€ that felt unnecessarily final and unprofessional.

I’ve shopped at this store before and have always appreciated the products and the environment, but this experience left me disappointed and disrespected. It’s discouraging to be treated this way over a simple misunderstanding that could have easily been resolved with attentive listening and a bit of patience.

I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as kindness and professionalism should be the standard when assisting any customer, whether in person or...
