Edited on March 14, 2025-- It was a nicer day and took my kids to get some energy out. Only 1 of the 4 garbage cans were emptied which is so disappointing yet again. But what was more frustrating is that the bathrooms are still closed for the season which I understand to a point but when there are hundreds of people visiting the parks on these nice days plus an ice cream man parked right where we park, someone will inevitably need the bathroom. Counted over 10 people attempting to use them but were disappointed that they couldn't. The parks system needs to do better in so many ways.
Edited on 6/14/24 The park was packed on this beautiful Friday but since it's so windy our fun was ruined by all the overflowed garbage. It seems they haven't emptied the 3 garbage cans that are available for some time. Several people attempted to clean up garbage, water bottles, and wrappers from the ice cream truck that had been idling in front of our ENTIRE 2-hour park day. Kenosha needs to do better and let us help keep our parks clean which we can't do with overflowing garbage cans!!
My kiddo absolutely loves this park or the 'big park' as she calls it. There's always something to do and many kids for her to play with...
Read moreMy son is OBSESSED with this place! One side is perfect for the little ones, and one side is great for the bigger kids. This playground has things there that I've literally never seen at a playground in my 32 years. It even has special equipment that makes a few things handicap accessible! I brought my stroller in and had plenty of room to walk around in it. Only has 1 opening in fence that kids have to go in and out, so its easy to keep track of them if you're outside of the park at the picnic tables that are right by the entrance. Definitely bring your kids here. I'm honestly surprised they don't charge for this playground because it is THAT cool. Bathrooms are open and available for use. There's also a lightning warning thing that goes off REALLY loud, so just be aware that that's a possibility if you're thinking of going in potential inclement weather and you have kids that...

This park was truly built by and through the heart of Kenosha's Community. This is an example of what dreams truly are made of; they are not dreams for ourselves, but a future, and our children of the community are that future. This park stands as a testament to our children that when a community comes together for the greater good of development, all things are possible. Swing on by with your little ones for some fresh air. This park not only breathes Hope into the future of the Kenosha Community but is the pulsating rhythm of the collective hearts of its...
