Alford Park — Attraction in Mount Pleasant

I love the little outdoor ice rink and skating with the grandchildren well holding them up while they tried to escape just a wonderful place I am really proud of the parks department they've done an awesome job of really making downtown Kenosha a wonderful place I can't believe the change in the last 20 years to downtown Kenosha from dump of rubble and debris along the Lakeshore fenced off with a 6-foot chain-link fence to the museums and they condominiums and all the activities we have down there now it's just unbelievably incredible how well they have transformed the downtown the parks department is awesome...

Live in Lake County IL less than 4 miles west of the big blue but we come up here sometimes to escape the often overcrowded IL Beach State Park especially when it gets hot enough out.

Nice lil beach loaded with plenty of rocks & stones for my 6 year old son to throw in the water.

Whenever we end up here it's usually to kill some time before dining in at one of Keno's nearby fine restaurant choices.

Always a calm & serene experience being by the lake especially with what's been happening to the world the last year and...

Extremely rocky beach. The water there is too dangerous to swim as the Pike River let out is just a little ways away from the beach area. There are signs further down the beach to the right, stating it is dangerous to swim here due to currents. It's ok if you just want to stroll down the beach, with shoes for sure. Definitely not that kid friendly as they get bored here...
