It's too bad because this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The last few times I've ordered to-go have been wildly disappointing but today's order was so bad that I'm going to be done with this place for a good long time. For context I ordered the garlic parmesan wings and the Kenosha fries. When I got home I found that my my wings were near cold and had no sauce whatever. I know working in a restaurant is hard and I try to forgive tiny mistakes but forgetting the parmesan garlic sauce on an order of Parmesan garlic wings is a pretty big screw up. Worse though were the fries. In the past I've had a great ratio of fries to toppings. However this, and the past few times, I've received so small amounts of toppings it was barely anything but a plate of fries. I asked for two small ingredients to be removed, which I hope wasn't something too awful. But sure enough both ingredients were there. Again. I could understand this mistake but it also wasn't a challenging request. I didn't ask them to make me a grilled cheese without cheese and bread or something like that. What takes the cake though is that somehow, though a miracle of physics, my food was both burnt and cold. I'm really sad to say this but I've had warmer and more accurate orders from McDonald's. Which is a disappointing thing to have to say for a restaurant that I loved to frequent. I will note this. All of my bad experiences were with ordering to go. Maybe sitting down inside is a better experience. However, just because I picked up my food didn't mean that I should have a lower quality meal then sit down patrons. Overall this experience really put a bad taste in my mouth, both figuratively...

Visited Waterfront Warehouse early on a Friday evening during the summer. Upon arrival I noticed they had a nice outdoor patio that allowed patrons a slight view of the lake. We sat inside however, because.. well summer. Accurately described as a "bar/grill" by Google. There was a bar as well as dining rooms, the building is split level, so everything isn't on just one floor. The menu isn't the largest, but it does show character. Plenty of unique things to order like loaded fries and flatbreads to simpler things like ribs and chicken parmesan. We shared a Pesto Italiano Flatbread which we liked. It was definitely stacked and loaded with fresh basil and chicken. The flatbread itself was more like a pita than a traditional flatbread. No crispiness to it. But it was filling. We also decided that since we were sharing a flatbread, we could both probably eat an order of loaded fries. Yeah, big mistake. These orders are way bigger than we thought and are meant for sharing. They're all prepared with waffle fries, which is a nice change. I also liked that these orders aren't just topped with the toppings but are prepared so that the good stuff is found inside as well. The Kenosha 'Cue BBQ fries were a flurry of different tastes that made the dish too busy to try and pick out individual flavors, but it was delicious. We both decided that WW is a solid 4 (more like 4.2 from me). But we're both intrigued enough to come back whenever we're in town again. We both think it could be a strong 5, but we need another visit to...

I have never written a review for a restaurant, but I feel my experience this evening needs to be shared. When we walked into the restaurant we were told a 15-20 minute wait. Someone in our party has a medical condition and needs to eat within a certain time frame. I felt this was a reasonable amount of time, and never expected to be seated exactly within the given time. After 45 minutes of waiting I asked the hostess if she knew how much longer the wait would be. I was told a few minutes. After 60 minutes we made the decision to leave. The hostess came running out after us and said they had a table. When our server came she apologized for the wait (not her fault at all), we expressed our concerns we had and she then went to the manager to let her know. We never asked for the manager to come speak with us. All of these things I think are normal good customer service. The manager then approached our table. Instead of apologizing for the long wait she started yelling at us. We asked her to calm down and she turned around and stormed away. All of the other staff were working hard to give good customer service. Our food came out quickly and was very good. Our waitress was excellent. I feel bad giving them only 3 stars but I can not tolerate being yelled at as a paying customer that never even asked to speak to manager let alone get...

Post Covid, I find it that good food and good service are harder to come by. We recently tried waterfront warehouse for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by both. The waitress was awesome. We went on a weeknight, so I think she was both a bar tender and a waitress, and she was very prompt with taking our order and on top of checking in on us for refills, etc.. We ordered the loaded fries as an app and burgers for the meals - both were good. I liked their standard fries better than their waffle, but this might just be a personal preference. I ordered 2 drinks - a seasonal Moscow mule and a strawberry slammer, both were STRONG. We went on a weeknight, but it was still pretty busy so I imagine it gets busy during the weekends - I would plan accordingly. We had no wait, but the bar area was pretty full. The only potential downside is that you do have to go down a few stairs inside to get to their restroom - which could be a downside for someone who is unable to do stairs. We will be back for date night soon!

Only the 2nd time I've ever been here which was fairly recent but overall a pleasant enough experience. Went with the Philly Ribeye this time around which was ok, really wanted to try their Reuben but they were out. The first visit here which was back in 2018, I had the Wisconsin Merkt Cheese Bacon burger which was mouthwatering. The boneless wings and cheese curds apps were great, don't believe my wife and daughter enjoyed their entrees too much though. I guess if you're looking for something with a taste that's to-die-for then I guess it just depends on the person. Either way I love the ambience here and it's a lively crowd of people enjoying themselves that I really like. Prices seem reasonable, venue is kept clean/sanitized and customer service reigns supreme and that's why I give my overall experience at The Waterfront Warehouse my 5 ⭐s. Always happy to support a local-owned business especially during this seemingly neverending pandemic.
