Amazon Recruiting Office BFI4 — Attraction in Kent

Been there since the launch, was great for about 6 months, then everything changed. The management team suddenly disappears and changes, most of the managers are kids straight out of college who have never worked a day in there lives, but they have a degree in something completely irrelevant, so they're perfect for management. Upper management is an absolute joke, the closest I could think to describe them are as fascist hypocritical morons who know absolutely nothing, and can't figure out even the simplest of problems. HR is ok, but usually useless, you almost always get the "runaround generic BS answer" to everything.

That being said, nothing here is difficult aside from the hours and stupid amounts of overtime. If you have a family, this isn't for you, you have collectivly about 3 hours off a week to actually do anything and even then you'll probably be to tired.

All you are to these people is an employee number and an hourly rate, if you can't meet it they get rid of you pretty much immediately, the good managers that try to help disappear out of nowhere, I've since discovered they go to corporate to basically silence them and keep the drones running around aimlessly. After all if you can think for yourself, you don't fit in with the "Amazon model".

It seriously gets to a point where you feel your soul physically leave your body the moment you walk through the turn stiles, and just flat out becomes depressing no matter how much the management team forces there fake smiles on you.

Bottom line this is a backup job and nothing more, I really can't figure out why I continue to...

My daughter just got terminated from Amazon after she was on leave due to and injury first she hurt herself in January and had to go to the hospital for sticks she informed her supervisor and her supervisor told her she needed a clearance from her doctor that she was good to work she got her note from her doctor stating that she could work but needed light duty so they sent her home again this time she needed a note from her doctor that she is 100% good to work with no accommodations she got here note from her doctor she went back to work they told her again that now she needed and email from Amazon HR or some place that belongs to Amazon that she’s good to go she sent in a copy through email and it was a certification from her doctor that she was 100% cleared spoke to someone and this person I honestly don’t thing he or she knows her job told her that she needed clearances from Washington state I don’t know what Washington’ state had to do with her injury it was not during work so their was no L&I they kept giving my daughter a hard time to go back in to work and Amazon had a tick for attendance and because she couldn’t return till all this clearance she had too much tick and Amazon terminated her and didn’t approve her leave and she didn’t know that till today 3/05/21 after she spoke to someone because she’s trying to return to work and the lady on the phone told her that today she was terminated because she had to much ticks and all my daughter was trying to do was to get back to work and they kept sending her home how is...
