Excelty LLC — Attraction in Kent

I'm so glad I found this place! I wear an XL and sometimes an XXL depending on the brand. It's much more challenging at regular thrift stores because there's almost always an over abundance of smaller sizes. The XL size sections at other thrift stores are tiny compared to the rest of the sizes. Not here at Excelty! I love knowing I can come in here and be able to find something thrifted in my size. That's why I used to avoid thrifting for so long was because it's difficult to find things in my size. The clothing they take in is incredibly well organized, clean and reasonably priced. They even take donations too! My husband and I both wear an XL, so we both went through our closets and donated two whole black trash bags of stuff. They also gave us a coupon for 20% our next transaction for making a donation. They also take some food donations because they are next to Kent Social Services. It does my heart good knowing we can support a local, small and women owned business whilst also letting someone else have the experience of finding stuff in their size at a thrift store. The owner is also super nice and personable! I could keep gushing about this place because I think it's so fantastic and we need more places like this! It's my little hidden gem...

Love having a plus size store 2 blocks away from my house! They are very reasonably priced! Went in this summer for a bathing suit and it was a 1/3 of the price of a name brand store! And I got both pieces! Went in for a hoodie to cut the sleeves off because it was raining during the Easter egg hunt. They had 2 sleeveless hoodies my size! Saved me so much time and money.

I also love love love that they take donations for the food bank next door! They also take clothing donations but the food one is great for people who wanna donate but can't during KSS business hours! And when you donate you get a %off your purchase!

They are such a community driven business and it's amazing having them in my back yard!

They also have a loyalty card! Every X amount of dollars you get a punch! Then you use the card for a discount when it's full.

So glad I stopped into this Thrift shop today! Everyone was super friendly and it really does feel more like a boutique than a thrift store. The store was well organized and clean, I didn't utilize the changing rooms but, it was wonderful to see I can try things on the next time I visit (each dressing room was decorated so nicely too). It was such a warm atmosphere (from the minute I walked in and was greeted by the owner) to purchasing my items. I plan to return frequently and will recommend the...
