Great fishing for 14 yr old and younger. The sign says that is posted by the lake. Past the fishing hole there are trails that are great for walking the dog in the beautiful woods or taking a bike ride. Its very bike friendly. UPDATE: Thanks to yet another untaught homeless community of King County for once again totally destroying another beautiful forested river front area. Since this post was originally made the city of Kent has came in and cut down most of, if not all the trees and bulldozed the trails. Then turned the once forested area into a huge ugly water reservoir! WTH? I'm gonna throw a little fit here juuust for a sec... KING COUNTY YOU need to stop allowing the homeless to destroy everything!! Your ALLOWING this behavior!! You did this! You know they're there. For months you drive by. I know you know where they are(just follow the huge trail of garbage leading into the woods)Months go by before you take any action. Then when you finally take action you do NOTHING to make them responsible for their disgusting mountains apon mountains of trash!!! From soda caps to rusted out car bodies the trash is literally taking over everything!! All you do is force them out and into another area where they can destroy it also. EVERY SINGLE time. They go without any repercussions, not even a lousy sign up that says "pack it in pack it out." Still you do nothing! OMG the rats! Don't get me started on how many RATS their trash mountains bring to the area!! Don't you look at me now King County... Uh uh divert your taxing money hungry eyes. You get not one bloody red cent from me (the tax payer) to fix a problem that y'all created! And You... You just sit there and watch them destroy and destroy and destroy one beautiful area after another. You still do nothing, you don't even try top threaten them or punish them or in any way teach them their ways are wrong Your telling them that their behavior is acceptable! Lets say you had a dog that pottied on your bed everyday. Would you just leave it there and do nothing? Then sit back and happily watch him potty on your bed everyday, day after day. Then finally but only after numerous complaints you take action you throw the bedding away and make your bed with a new set of sheets that you bought with the money you just barrowed from Your brother. Then incomes your dog and climbs on up and potties on your clean bed. But remember its ok because you taught him that that behavior acceptable. He's a good dog. Or would you do like me, spank your dogs butt while saying "bad dog"a few times and teaching him potty on the bed is not acceptable! That way I know I have no mess to worry about...

It was very fun here and we didn't expected to. Came here to fish, but didn't catch anything. We tried barber and worms, and also trolling with gold color spinners. There were few others already fishing, but they didn't catch anything either. However, we did catch cool looking blue colored dragonfly using our fishing net. It was pretty challenging to say the least, but we had a blast. We also saw red colored dragon fly that we hope to see again next visit. Area is well maintained and has garbage bins, benches, and two picnic tables. You are not submerged in the middle of the nature, because you can here the traffic going by, but plenty of tall trees around pond to block the view of traffics to...

Cute area right off highway to give your dog an area to stretch. Cute area to walk around a pond that feels a lot more like you're in a rural area. People fishing with a walking path with lots of nature to thrill your pooch. There's a beautiful, huge totem pole on one side, that my dog was very interested in. It's not a trail but feels like it could be, but surprised me that it...

Always a great time spent here. Quiet place to relax after walking the trail. The trail is wide, flat and perfect for biking, walking and roller blading. The wildlife can be abundant at times and there are 2 families of eagles which you can enjoy seeing most days. A lot of parking and only steps from trail. Also handicap accessible.
