We stayed at this hotel utilizing the stay, park, fly option. It was a very clean and quiet hotel. There was coffee, tea and hot chocolate and fresh cookies available for guests when we arrived Christmas night. Penny at the front desk was super helpful giving us alternatives to get to Union Station for our big Amtrak adventure to LA the next day. The shuttle was roomy and convenient. Penny also told me and my very hungry kids upon flying into SEATAC a week later about getting a large Dominos pizza with 3 toppings for only $8 if you order online and the place is in the same plaza as the hotel. Our car was there for 10 days and the convenience and safety was great for us and we'd definitely go there again. The staff were excellent. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful, lots of hot and cold options, beverages as well and quite tasty.

This has to be hands-down the best low-cost hotel we stayed at ever. Exceptional service from the staff, you may want to personally ask for Penny who really went out of her way to help us out. This hotel offers reasonable rates for long-term parking and also provides shuttle service to the airport. The morning breakfast that starts at 6 a.m. was very good. Many items you don't see on other hot breakfast menus. I'm sure it changes daily, but we were happy to see the wide selection of menu items they had available. It's not everyday that you see soy milk and seedless grapes on a breakfast menu! The rooms were very clean, i really enjoyed the fantastic water pressure. This was our second booking, we expect to use them the next time we fly out of SeaTac. A late night UberXL was $25 from the airport.

Wow, what can I say. We come up from Portland to Seattle a lot, and have stayed in a lot of hotels. their room is very nice, the pillows were great! The location and restaurants around it are great. they have a continental breakfast that is one of the best ones I’ve seen in hotels. and as a last note, the staff and service were excellent and a special shout out to Courtney. We had to leave for an event Lumen field and they had fresh cookies at 6 PM and we weren't going to be there. We came back around 8 PM and Courtney with the front desk had hung a couple of cookies in a bag with a nice note on our door for us. You have a real winner there Best Western!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights for business relocation purpose. To be fair, the stay was a mixture of pleasure and disbelieve. The good parts. We were picked up at airport by Karl (or Carl) sent by hotel. He was so nice and we felt picked up by a friend. The check in process was more than we expected. For a 3 PM check in, they accommodated us at 9:30 AM, it was more than we expected and we appreciate it. During our stay, we used internet, printer, and breakfast. We were very happy with all services. Hotel was well decorated and well maintained. Our problem started our last day there. We had "No Disturbance" sign on our door. Staff entered, no service were performed, but a sign of we entered was left on dresser. We thought it was done by cleaning crew due to lack of training, so we informed front desk during our check out process. God knows how wrong we were. We were informed BestWestern throughout US practice it due to someone died in a room, we were informed BestWestern check in process informed us and we signed off the right of privacy. Here is my answer.

  1. I believe every hotel in the world should have that right reserved, but it should be reserved for special circumstance only. Hotel needs to have reasonable doubt to execute it, and it should not be executed lightly. For our case, there was no reasonable circumstance to warrant that execution. For our case, no life was in danger, no property was damaged, no sign of criminal activity, no one was contacted, no police was informed, curiosity was it.
  2. When we had "No Disturbance" sign on our door, a knock on the door is not enough! The scenarios of people might not hear the knock can go very long. This hotel thinks a line on check in and a knock on the door gave them the right to enter without reasoning tell us this hotel does not understand and respect privacy. Curiosity is not a reason to execute that line. Reasonable cause and enough effort of inform customers need to happen before this trust can be break. They had our phone number, but the effort was never made, but they took our privacy away.
  3. Front desk reaction gave me the impression that we were not the first one confronted them. There was not an ounce of sorry or surprise. They were too quick to hold up someone else's check in paper in front of me and told me I signed for that agreement. Again, did the other customer agreed all their information, including their address and credit card number were showed to me? I also want to point out that, the front desk did not only speak for this BestWestern, she made extra effort to specify all BestWestern in US practice this behavior.
  4. I booked the hotel online, the confirmation I received did not contain the line of me giving up privacy right. At hotel front desk, check in process was friendly and quick. I did not get any piece paper, and did not have time to read any. For our family, unless BestWestern tell us they change this practice, we will not stay with BestWestern again. We do not recommend anyone who cares about privacy to stay with...

Go somewhere else. The beds are really hard, but broken down. Where people sit on the edge of the bed is a deep depression, in a double bed there was a ridge in the middle and the rest was very hard not a decent night's sleep in a week. Worse they promise a walk-in shower and I prepay assured me they could not give my room away. When I arrived late because of a late flight they put me into a room with a bathtub. Worse the only grab bar was in the back there was no way to get in and out of the tub without letting go while there was a seat in it which I required. They moved me the next day, but refused to give me any compensation for the night I was forced to spend in a room where I could not bathe. Even worse the new shower and fold down seat, after 5 minutes in the shower the seat pulled out from the wall and collapsed. I had just had knee replacement , if I weren't strong , and didn't have good reflexes, I would have been seriously injured. I have sat on these same kinds of seats several times with never a problem, it wasn't installed correctly. When I reported this neither the person I spoke to then nor the manager ever asked if I had been hurt. In fact after the initial night when I asked for a refund the manager never spoke to me directly again. Had I not prepaid I would have left the first night. Some of the staff were very kind and attentive that is the only good thing I could say about this place. They refuse to give me my paperwork when I left saying it had to come from my travel agent, I was given no compensation for the wrong room and the...

Long story short this is top 5 Best Westerns I've stayed at I the country.

If you happen to run into Penny during your stay, you will recieve the best service in the nation. Hands down. Very attentive, kind, and outgoing. She baked cookies for all the guests 😭

The rooms aren't the biggest, but that has never been a problem for me. Everything was clean, no hairs anywhere in the bathroom. Which is VERY uncommon in any other hotel. All the appliances worked. The bed was comfy and warm. Even the TV was fancy with different options to connect to my streaming services or devices. The internet was REALLY fast in comparison to other hotels I've been at.

Also, based on the news recently I was skeptical about staying near Seattle for work. The location of this Best Western really helped set me at ease. I've been traveling alone for work the past month, so anything that helps is a blessing.

There's a restaurant and a pub literally right next door, and it's in a good location to drive a minute or two if you want something different. Both restaurants are delicious and the people working the bar are friendly.

The view on the back patio is beautiful. Once you get over the awkwardness of whether the golfers care that you are watching its very peaceful lol

If ever I have work in Washington again, I'll be looking to stay here again! This is my #1 location for service and my #2 for room appeal.

#2 service & #1 room appeal goes to Best Western Plus White Bear Country Inn near Butte, MN.

So far Northwest has been knocking it out...
